claire_louise Posted August 27, 2007 Report Posted August 27, 2007 I was never a big fan of Joel's Flynn so I didn't bother with these, but I did catch the funeral ep (the only one which didn't feature him, lol). What a fantastic piece of tv - that's what quality soap is all about. Somehow I can't see Sally mourning like that over Brad though... What I'd really love is a special like this on KK - any chance, do you think? *crosses fingers*

Personally I think they've done Sally an injustice giving her a partner who has no distinct personality and is basically just there to fill the Flynn-shaped hole. But I don't think they should have recast Flynn a third time - Joel and Kate had a huge following as Flynn and Sally, and replacing one half of such a golden couple would never work. The chemistry just wouldn't be the same.

Kate and Joel were just a.m.a.z.i.n.g in all of them. Kleenex was definately a very comforting thing yesterday . Mmm...I'm now wondering what the next special will be...

halcyon06 Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 I caught the end of the episode where Flynn found out he had cancer, and the 3 episode's afterwards...Wow it was so moving!! They are my all-time favourite couple!! The funeral was by far the best episode and when Sally was scattering his Ashes....that was just the best scene!! So sad!!
