liam99998204 Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 I have only just noticed, but everyone on here seems to dislike the character of Drew beyond belief. Is there any particular reason? I know he has had a lot of teenage storylines with Belle and Lucas but I personally feel he has the potential to go far! Is there any other characters everyone else despises and why?
Aquamarine Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 Where is Kat? She can explain this much better than myself. I strongly dislike Drew. His relationship with Belle is predictable and uninteresting. He breaks up with her, then weasels back into her life as soon as she has moved on as if nothing ever happened. I have no liking for his moody character whatsoever. Other characters I'm currently not keen on are Kit, Kim, Martha and Belle. Kit and Kim mainly for the Kim/Kit/Rachel/Hugh storyline.

I feel that there is so much potential for the character. He could down so many different paths, personally i'd like to know more about his past, and feel that if this was explored people would perhaps take to him a little more. I do feel that they need to stretch him out of the relationship scenario a bit though. This is why I liked him when he was with Amanda. Although he was being a typical teenage lad, it worked well. I also currently dislike Kit Kim Rachel and Hugh. The former three having been at one time three of my favourtie characters. I feel they are now going nowhere, and are stuck in a predictable storyline rut!

He is such a predictable, selfish, slimy Character who thinks he can treat People like sh*t and get away with it. He has an unbelievable attitude towards people, a short temper and if he dosnt get want he wants he throws a temper-tantrum like A Five Year Old.

And even the ones that are not like that all the time have their moments! Do people not see the potential with him - he could do so much in the show!

See if Nicholas Bishop hadn't of chosen to leave and they gave Dan and Leah a decent storyline then you might think differently. I do still think learning more about the boarding school and what happened before he came to the bay can only make people warm to him more. In regards to the other teenagers on the show, they have found plenty for them to do- so why not Drew?

I think it was because his moodiness was new, but it's been a year now, and he's still grumping. Interesting character though. Why don't the monkeys give him something non-relationship wise to do? The only thing he had was the pyro/Gillan storyline, which was just pointless and confusing.
