I know he can hear from his implant..but i still don't think he would be your standard child.....does anyone agree with me? Surely his speech would be interrupted or something. Also, he is old enough to speak etc. haha he just never does! I really think they should bring back the whole Poulos family again...their guest stints were always ace....although we haven't seen them since 2004! I know she's underused now but i found her a bit overused from 2000-2004...i mean at one point in the whole surrogacy thing she was irritating! In fact 2007 and maybe some of 2006 are the only points where she has been underused..which is fair play considering Irene has been much more underused at points during her run. I also think people need to remember the Colleen/Leah friendship...they dont seem to be as close as they once were? The same goes for Alf/Leah.......MOD EDIT: Spoilers! I dunno...maybe bringing back an older character would be good for Leah. Does anyone know who actually WILL return in 2008 for the 20th anniversairy..i'm going to assume Don, Fisher and Pippa may be around....but what about Bec Hewitt and Rebekah Elmaloglou....?!
bttb-rox! Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Let's just hope we see Leah given a storyline this year! ... Well, it looks like your wish has been granted. Bevan has said that Leah will have a big storyline of her own when Dan leaves. I just read his account of whats to come up an i'm very very pleased indeed! I can't say to much in here as it would be spoiling, but i'm more intigued than ever as to what Bevan has in store for Leah and just for the whole show really. I have great faith in him now that he has taken over! I have faith with all the other writers but Bevan (not picking favourites here btw ) is a very unique writer and I think he is going to bring some great storyline material into the show!

alexx Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 Leah used to be such a bubbly, funny and quirky back when she first arrived and into 2002, then she became serious and at times morbid, especially during early 2004. Why was this? I so hope she’ll go back to her more bubbly and lively ways, it makes her a much more uniqe and fun character, and even more likable...plus I think when Ada does a fantastic job when portraying Leah as the comical mad chick and vulnerable during her worst moments.
*Maggie* Posted October 3, 2007 Report Posted October 3, 2007 It would be lovely if Vinnie could return. I am sure Ada will be leaving at some point, as she has said she wishes to start a family. I would like to see the fun side of Leah return, though she is now a mature woman with a child, not 18 any more. They have cut down on the amount of whinging and moaning she does, and hopefully that will not recur. It would be so nice to see the longer term more established cast get a storyline.

Her husband was falsely imprisoned and was then 'killed' in a fire just after she'd given birth to their first child, who later turned out to be deaf and nearly died on the operating table! I think that's enough to put anyone in a bad mood.
