Location visit - help needed

Hi all,

My name is Gunther and my girlfriend and I are coming to Australia in 2 weeks time, for a one month holiday. We'll be driving from Sydney to Cairns and making lots of stops in between.

My girlfriend is a huge fan of Home and Away so we'll be visiting the Palm Beach area. It was a must since we're practically driving through it anyway on our way up to Brisbane. And I couldn't say no, now could I?

Anyway, I'm planning to pop the question when we're in Australia and I'm trying to decide on the best spot to do it. Now I know she was a huge fan of Noah in the series (she cried a whole lot when he died, I remember) and I found this video on YouTube:

And I was wondering if anyone could point me to the location where Noah proposed to Hayley. I think that'd be a great spot for me too. ;)

Is it on Palm Beach? I hope so! Does anyone know where exactly? GPS coordinates of the nearby (or exact, but I think that'd be wishful thinking ;)) surroundings would be great.

Or perhaps anyone can give other romantic location suggestions that my girlfriend would recognize from the show?

Sounds like a great plan!

The place where Noah proposed to Hayley wasn't at Palm Beach though, it was on the top end of Fishermans Beach at Collaroy next to the old location of 'The Palace'

As H&A Locations go though, it's not one of the most recognisable. There are plenty of places around the Palm Beach area if you'd prefer it to be there. You can take a walk up to the Lighthouse which is a bit of a trek but shows great views of Palm Beach:

Or you could always try the Bible Garden - which overlooks the beach from the Southern End

Or a location certainly recognisable to all Home and Away fans is West Head Lookout, which overlooks the Palm Beach Peninsula from Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park - location of Shane's Death, Josie and Jesse's Wedding and many others.

I could go on for hours - if there's any other info you need feel free to ask!
