Guest [x]whacko[x]jen[x] Posted September 12, 2007 Report Posted September 12, 2007 For me, I've heard Eskimo Joe's "Black Fingernails Red Wine", there's a line in it which says "All of us stand and point our fingers" but I thought it was "I don't understand the point of fingers". Me to!!
Guest [x]whacko[x]jen[x] Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 In 'Don't lie' I was always singing 'Put your pom poms down' when it's actually 'What your all about' Anyone else sing that or just me??
Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 For me, I've heard Eskimo Joe's "Black Fingernails Red Wine", there's a line in it which says "All of us stand and point our fingers" but I thought it was "I don't understand the point of fingers". Me to!! Yes, I heard something like that too. And for a while I heard "I wish I was a punk rocker" as "I wish I was a pompom girl" ie a cheerleader. There's a game called Mondegreens that they play on Spicks and Specks sometimes. One of my favourites was "I've got shoes they're made of pythons" instead of "I've got chills, they're multiplying" from Grease. Another famous one is "Hold me closer Tony Danza."
Cal Posted November 24, 2007 Report Posted November 24, 2007 I just found the funniest video on youtube about misheard lyrics. It's a Nightwish song, but the misheard lyrics are hilarious! If you're not a fan of Nightwish, you'll still love this. CLICKY "Hard Porn, we'll find a whip"
Guest [x]whacko[x]jen[x] Posted November 25, 2007 Report Posted November 25, 2007 There was another one I figured today: In LDN by Lily Allen I thought it went: 'Yeah that's right he lied' but I looked it up and it actually goes 'Yeah that's city life' Maybe it was just her accent that confused me?? I was always wondering who the guy was who lied.

" I liked the sound of rainfall I just found out that I've been singing Thirsty Merc's 20 Good Reasons wrong I thought it was "There was no rainfall," but it's actually "There was no rain for...all there was was you...
