For me it would have to be when Peter supposedly died at Jack and Martha's wedding. I seriously cried buckets! Was happy when he returned alive. Even Nic himself appreciated that I cried!

Re Charlotte,

The actress was Stephanie Chaves-Jacobsen.

She was mentioned for a while after her death as they dedicated an out door balcony thingy to her with a plaque and stuff, and also Jude had to decide what to do with her money.

IMO her most important role was indavertantly bring Flynn back into medicine, she was about to perform a complicated op on someone (I forget who) without any other surgeons or anyone and Flynn just happened to be there and saw her panicing and helped her in the op, then became a doctor again.

As for not seeing her death coming I'm pretty sure we had a spoiler somewhere online beforehand (on the summerbaycourier group or a website? I've still got printoffs somewhere so I'll have to have a look).

Going back to the thread, I cry a lot at deaths and things on H&A but claire louise is right it isn't the person who dies that's important it's the reaction of the other characters, I particular have cried over the years if Jade, Alf, Don, Irene, Sally, Beth or Matilda have been crying.

I've only watched the Meg ep years later but I cry everytime, I cried when Scotts horse had to be put down (Jacko was it?) and I cried heaps with Beth when Scott 'died' in the blaxen, little did I know I was actually mourning all sense of reality on H&A for about the following three years !

I didn't watch H&A during the episodes when Flynn died and I was on holiday during the episodes when Noah died so didn't see either of those deaths. I can't really think of any deaths that have made me cry, but I DID cry when Jade discovered she wasn't Kirsty's twin. The storyline itself was too rushed but Kate Garven's acting was sooo convincing.

I agree, the storyline didn't lead up to it's potential as it was far too rushed and it focused too much on Kirsty in my opinion, but Kate Garven's performance was fantastic and moving. I cried in her scene with Shelley.

As for actual deaths, I cried on the episode Charlotte died. Charlotte was just about to leave for a happy ending after having a few warm goodbyes, but then died and never got the chance. I had just warmed to her character towards her end aswell.

She was also mentioned in mid-2003 when Nick and Seb were working at a nursing home and they recognised one of the residents as her grandmother.

^Yeah I think the episode after Flynn told Sally in the cliff-hanger, was one of the best of 2005 - it was so well written and one of the most emotional episodes...Sally running down to the rocks on the beach crying, Flynn and Alf talking on the beach...fantastic episode.

yes thats was a very sad episode, very emotional episode :(

it was a very good episode i also cried when flynn died while sally cuddled into himthe one

i criedwhen Michael drowns in the river after jumping in to save Sam .

i remember when i watch it, it was that sad i cry until it was over .

you seen poor Jack who tries to save him but he couldn't hold on to Micheal .

Flynn's death had me in tears..it was so well done. It had far more emotional impact than some of the others they have done. I cried when Beth and also Bobby died too. Funnily enough other things have made me cry... I cried buckets when Barry left and also when KK left...and I am NOT a KK shipper :P
