I agree with both of you.

I never liked Flynn but i do admit the funeral was emotional, and surprising how calm and thoughtful colleen can actually be taking over Cassie's Speech.

Also Charlotte well IMo she was a) pointless and b) a pain in the bum

She was only introuduced to reveal the medical results had been swapped By zoe

She wasn’t in the show when Zoe was – she left in 2002.

I liked Charlotte I was always really interested in her storylines, and I think that was mainly due to the actress – I thought she was fantastic. I think the character could have been a keeper had the writers given her something more to do than the doctor role. I liked Jude too so I guess I didn’t view them as pointless characters, because I enjoyed there storylines.

She was going reveal something to do with medical results, I must have just got confused as this is a recycled storyline 3 times now. Of course she had gone long before Zoe silly me all i had to do was watch a couple of episodes on my computer  . Anyway I still didnt like the character that much remains fact

Um...that wasn't Charlotte.

Personally I always thought Charlotte could have been a classic character, if the writers had recognised her potential. She was interesting, she had a quirky (but still beautiful) look, and Stephanie thingy was a good actress. It was a shame that they made her so irritating and then finished her off with the most pointless death in H&A history.

I don't think her death was pointless. Without it she wouldn't even be remembered.

Totally agree, I just mean the way it was done was pointless. In terms of the storyline there was no reason to kill her off as she was leaving anyway. I think it was a good idea to kill her, but not when they'd already set up her exit. That just made it seem unnecessary.

Flyn was the one I cried most about

I also cried in the episode that Rocco died but not because Rocco died because of Ric, he acted beautifully

I think that made it all the more tragic. It was a good twist IMO, and we had loads of fantastic scenes.

Yeah that's what made it so tragic and therefore memorable. If she had just gone for a swim and drowned one random day, sure it would be sad, but it wouldn't have had the twist that made it so shocking. The whole idea of the leaving party and everything was so you wouldn't see the death coming. It was very deliberate. It's not like they filmed all the leaving scenes and then thought "actually, let's kill her for the hell of it."

Dr. Free was the Dr who tried to Reveal Zoe switched the results I have just been reminded as they recycle storylines i get confused now thats cleared up.Agree with the person who said if someone is due to leave anyway why bother to kill them if they were already mentioned as leaving previously in another way.

It was all part of the same story! Argh! It's not like they wrote the storyline for Charlotte to leave one way then changed their mind. The whole point of the tragedy was that she was about to leave for a new life then got killed. That was the point!

Ste (with a little help from Alex), you've converted me. I never saw the point of the way they killed Charlotte, but now I can see that it did actually serve a purpose. You're right; if she'd just died randomly I probably wouldn't have cared so much.
