In some cases i may be wrong (see list below) but im pretty sure ON SCREEN that is none of this was ever continued or explained

No one mentioned Ric's Diabetes and he eats and drinks anything

Beth and Amanda both forgot as well as the police about Leo Simms

It was never explained If charlie Was gay or just obsessed with Kim as a friend

It was never explained how Zoe and Tracy knew each other

ON SCREEN and after a few episodes forgot to find out

at oz pace

Belle has forgotten she hates her mum and stands up for kelli after suspecting her

Re Leo Simms: Didn't Amanda make it look as though Leo Simms had robbed Leah's place and then tripped whilst making a getway through the bush?

Well in the police decided that Leo had died an accidental death, and well Amanda would be stupid to turn herself in wouldn't she?

So in effect, the conclusion of the storyline was that nothing happened.

The beauty of H&A is that not everything turns into huge storylines. It's "supposed to" resemble real lives (yeah, right), and in real life, not everything turns into something else.

If everything the characters did or said were dragged up later on, it would be rather tedious, IMO.

I agree about Ric, absolutely. :)

It annoys me to no end how we now, in Norway, just after Ric's been introduced, have forgotten all about it already. Sure, people with diabetes live normal lives (as much as you can with an illness that needs to be kept under control), but I call that sloppy writing.

Exactly on the one hand you dont expect in every single episode Alf to say " oi mate dont eat that flaming snickers your sugar levels will be high" etc ,but on the other you dont expect it TOO NEVER EVER be mentioned.
