Swearing on Home And Away

This is quite silly but I was just thinking about it...

Where does Home and Away draw the line with language censorship?

The other day they let Jack say "pissed", and some characters used to say "friggin" and "crap".

yet they say "witch" instead of the obvious.

It makes it more realistic when they hint at swearing... for instance when Johnny was hassling Rocco in that classroom last year, and then he grabbed the textbook, Rocco said "Johnny, just give me the fu--" and it seemed like he was gonna say "give me the f****** textbook"..

So they can hint at it but can't say it. They can say "pissed" but not "s**t".

Do you think this is realistic or what? Discuss?

Speaking of Jack Holden (Paul O'Brien) using the word "Pissed", Lucas Holden (Rhys Wakefield, if I've spelt his surname correctly) used the word "Bulls**t" when he ask Jack about when he had sex for the first time with another woman (before he came to Summer Bay)

When the series started Alf used to say 2 "Bloody" or "Bloody Hell" alot one example was in the pilot " wheres the bloody fire". And later in episodes 150-250 Tom Fletcher said " Bloody Fisher the mongrel" And i once recall Ailsa in the 1993 season say something along the lines of " no way is Bloody Morag getting her hands on Sam Alf". Now since around 1993 it stopped but in Neighbours Janelle Timmins says Bloody more than she talks sense and the "Bloody " in neighbours has only started creeping in last 2-3 years and it is shown earlier than H&a In both Australia and Uk
