muppets who bore and fit in to the cast about as well as a cactus in the north pole

I love that! It sounds so funny!

Well, the thing is all soaps go through their ups and downs every year, there is no such thing as a flawless year IMO. Just stick with it, and I'm sure things will happen in the 2007 season that will make you glad you kept watching.

Like I said though, I'm enjoying the more character focused route the show is taking at the moment. It is so nice to see people like Morag crying and it makes it even more emotional to watch. It is nice to see Alf's protectiveness of Sally and Ric's determination for revenge. Also, I'm liking the stress that the whole situation is putting on Macca and Cassie's relationship - you can see that he is gradually becoming more stressed.

This storyline has really brought the whole community together, and I love how nearly everybody was at the hospital waiting to hear news. The thing I like most about Home and Away is the feeling of the whole town being like a big family, so I guess that's why I feel it's on such a high at the moment.

I think the episodes at the moment are realy good and are very interesting!!!! The whole Ash

(Morag finding out about his wife and kids)

and Sally

(being stabbed by Rocco)

stories are great and make you want to see the next episode asap!!!!

I agree with all of you that said it was better than Eastenders!!! Even my gran thinks so and she has watched Eastenders for years!!!!!! :)

I have watched home and away since 1989

eastenders since 1991

neighbours 1989-1998 and 2005-now

And no soap not one is what it was. But i do agree with you Ross no such thing as a flawless year you have to take the paint drying with the action for example h&a last year you had the finale and grahams death and zoe all ruined by storylines like the terrible helicopter crash and mumma rose rot. Then in eastenders take the 2005 season (year) you had chrissie killing and burying den watts but the year was spoilt at the end by an absolutely abomnible xmas week

but whats ruined 2007 from about 20 eps in onwards for me is

clarissa house has gone as beth/ morag has been gone ages and alf and irene 2 massive characters were absent for a long length of episodes, however i did like the brief re appearance of geraldine turner as kitty landsdowne/vale

Well Emmerdale has always been boring but as for Home and Away, I think it is the best it could be at the moment.

I agree though Emmerdale has had it's fair share of exciting moments! The plane crash being one of them!

Just to let you know that there's an interesting article regarding Neighbours' future plans in the 'Neighbours' section. - its worth reading though.

Im finding british soaps storylines are rubbish and boring in eaastenders im sick of Stacy trying to be like KAt and that stella storryline pathetic and corronation street aint going to be the same with kate ford aka tracey Homew and away is far better and far exciting

Exactly. i think home and away is doing a brilliant job, Home and away can't compare with a lackluster boring show like Eastenders, theres only one storyline keeping me watch eastenders and theres loads to keep me watching Home and away. i think its just fine, i must admit i liked it when the Sutherland's were in but now its fine.

Mostly I really like how the show is going at the moment and look forward to how we go in the future. I'm hoping to see the adults get more focus now they have nearly all returned. The only storyline I couldn’t really care about is the Kelli and Amanda stuff.

It was incredibly boring today. All that happened was Belle got kidnapped and everybody ran round looking for clues. What a pity they didn't kidnap the whole bloody cast except Irene. Then maybe they could have given Irene a story of her own, which would have been a thousand times more interesting than watching all that frantic screaming and OTT drama.

Oh you’re at UK pace? I know I was really disappointed they did a 2006-style kidnapping that didn’t affect Belle at all afterwards. That’s what I don’t like about storylines involving Amanda/Kell – they are all the OTT and annoying.
