Jack Holden Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 I was shocked that five kept the word "pissed" in as well. Not because words like that offend me but because I dont normally here them on tv at 6pm!
Emmadolly Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 I could not believe that five left it in,, as usually they edit, but good on them.
Shaun. Posted March 17, 2007 Report Posted March 17, 2007 five are famous for their late night shows so no need for them to remove the word pissed. (Even if it is aired at 6pm.)
loveangelmusicbaby Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 What episode is this? I must have missed it when aired here.
ste Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 In defence of ITV, they did once allow Sophie to mention how her schoolfriends would 'cack themselves laughing' at something or other about 15 years go. LOL... That was in the early years. It's no secret at all that H&A used the occasional swear word (bitch, bloody), in the early years and that ITV showed it. They didn't get into censor overdrive until the mid nineties. Usually when people talk about ITV's editing of the show, they are referring to 1996 onwards You UK people must be so conservative if you are shocked at hearing someone say something so minor like that. Wow, you judge a whole nation based on some posts about a TV show? You've really grown since you first joined this board and annoyed everyone. That was sarcasm, by the way.
ter06 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 When Sarah Lewis confronted Robbie and Tash outside the surf club, Robbie told Rhys that he pissed himself. Not sure whether it was cut in the UK but we heard it in Ireland. I really want then to say bitch its so annoying when they say witch or cow all the time.
Si-Co Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 When Sarah Lewis confronted Robbie and Tash outside the surf club, Robbie told Rhys that he pissed himself. Not sure whether it was cut in the UK but we heard it in Ireland. Nope, it wasn't cut in the UK. I mentioned that above.
Si-Co Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Nope, definitely said 'pissed' - the rude, rude man!
Dan F Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Just watched a 1997 episode where Travis said 'That's utter crap' - not something you hear that often
