Additional UK Omnibus Showing

Ok, I searched for a relevant thread to post this in but couldn't find one, so I've started this new one.

I'm not sure if this is going to be a weekly thing, but the Home and Away omnibus is on again at the moment on five life! It came on about 15 minutes ago (11:50). As far as I know, the interactive quiz thing is normally on at this time.

I wonder if the five life quiz is another TV quiz to be taken off air in the recent scandal with phone in quizzes, so H&A is being shown in its place, or is this going to be a regular thing from now on? It just seems such a random time to replay it!

Edit: I have just flicked forward in the TV guide, and Home and Away is listed again this time next week, so it looks like it could be a regular time slot!

The HAA omnibus has actually been running ever since Five Life started, which was October/November 2006. But I think they should show it on Five instead of Five Life, because it just makes them complicated as some people don't have five life!

It might be because weekdays, people are working or have to deal with their children (if they have them) and same for weekend mornings. Or they might just want a lie in. So they play it late at night when the kids would be in bed. But people might have work on Monday mornings so still a dumb time to have it on. But I like it! :D Maybe they just don't have anything better to put on.

Maybe it also has something to do with the recent investigations into the quiz shows, and their subsequent axing. There's probably been a huge reshuffle and huge night-time gaps left by the removal of these programmes.

Yeah, if it was on channel 5, I would just lie in bed watching it. But now, even though I've seen these episodes, I'm gonna go "up to bed" at about 11:00 and then when it's on sneak downstairs to watch the omnibus. Hope I'm not too tired for school in the morning. :D
