I was just wondering if any of you think that they should bring the V-Man back into the show for a couplke of guest stints? I know he is meant to be in witness protection but what if he was safe now and was allowed out of witness protection, i think it would be good to see him back in the show for a guest stint just to visit Leah and VJ. I reckon that woul;d make a good storyline, what do you guys think?????

Ryan Kwanten said when he left that he would return when Ada Nicodemou left so that Vinnie & Leah could leave together. I doubt that will happen now or that Ryan would ever return at all, and I wouldn't want anyone else to play Vinnie, so I'd rather not have him return.

If you look at Vinnie was due to get out of prison mid-2003, approximately the same time as Ada's initial contract was up.

My guess is at the time that was said, they hadn't guessed Ada would like to renew her contract.

That's what I thought, I know I wasn't really expecting Leah to stick around another 5 years after Vinnie left.

I can't think of how Vinnie could possibly come back seeing as he is now in witness protection/dead to most of the world.

IMO the only reason the whole comming back from the dead/comming out of witness protection story worked out fairly well with Peter is because he was a cop, whereas that story for Vinnie just won't have the same affect.

Leah has moved on and as far as VJ knows his father is dead, and their life is with Dan now. Leah had her chance to go back to Vinnie, but she chose Dan and I think for now that's how it should stay.

In the future, if Leah and VJ are still around, maybe VJ can find out the truth...who knows what that can lead to...

But if the V-Man does ever return, it has to be Ryan Kwanten that plays him. I don't think anyone else can do the job as well.

I agree on that part that Ryan Kwanten has to play the part of Vinnie if they ever did bring him back onto the show i really dont think anyone else could really pull it off

I don't think whether anyone else could do the role of Vinnie well would be the issue. I think it would be mainly whether or not a "new" Vinnie would be popular with the viewers, which I doubt I would like, personally. I do think Vinnie returning would be interesting.

I think if it's written well and the actor is great they can bring him back with a new actor playing him... I think enough time has passed for them to replace Vinnie with a different actor. The only problem is if they hire an actor who's rubbish. I would love to see Vinnie return.

A short guest apearance to take Leah and VJ away to live in happiness would be great, but otherwise, I'd rather that The V Man's memory was left as it is. He was a great character and I'd be worried that a return might spoil him.
