Hey guys,

I know this topic would sound stupid but I need your help. Well I am wondering if Leah did ever try struggle to deal with her loss since she handed little Pippa over to Sally.

Because I remember seeing a episode when Leah was caught breast-feeding Pippa by Colleen who told Flynn about it. How did Sally react about Leah breast-feeding Pippa?

Thanks for your time.

Cheers Sarah

I think Sally was concerned and at one point she had to be quite firm with Leah that SHE (Sally) was her mother, not Leah. But they didn't fall out or anything.

So yeah Leah did have a hard time giving Pippa up. A lot harder than when she actually miscarried her own baby which she never seemed that bothered about. I guess it was only a contrived plot to begin with (revealing she was pregnant to add another cliffhanger to the string of pointless ones in the 2005 finale), so I suppose they felt no compulsion to linger on it.

Leah had more problems during her pregnancy than she did after. During the pregnancy she began thinking she had feelings for Flynn, because they were spending so much time together. Sally began feeling pushed out and alone. Leah actually kissed flynn at one point and it was one of the reasons that her and Jesse broke up, Sally and Flynn parted for a while too when she went and stayed with Irene (I think) for a few days. I think Leah spent some time away after the pregnancy and she was a bit clingy for a while with Sally and Flynn but she soon managed to get on with her life. I think once she saw how happy she had Flynn and Sally she began to feel much better about things.

Leah got over Pippa by buying visiting the city and buying new clothes if I remember.

Yes lovely knee high boots and a new hairdo if I remember correctly and she was a new woman!! Leah's main issues with gibing Pippa up were during the pregnancy, I recall Leah and Jesse having quite a few arguements over this.

Of course Leah struggled,in her own way I mean. After all she carried Pippa for 9 months! What Mom wouldn't feel some loss after handing a baby over just after birth, even if she was just a surrogate?
