Who is your favourite ever character and why?

Josie Russell is my favourite character ever. I thought she was an unusually complex character for a soap because she was neither mostly good or mostly bad as most characters seem to be. She had the capacity to be either, neither or both at different times - and although I'm an Amanda fan too, I feel that her character is much more simplistic. Perhaps what it comes down to is that Josie was written as a flawed but intelligent character, and it was her intelligence that gave her the capacity for subtle nuance and believeable unpredictability that many of the supposedly complex females in H&A have lacked. I also put it down to Laurie Foell's brilliance as an actor.

Actually, I have decided to change my mind and choose Max Sutherland aswell as Jade. I liked him a lot because out of all the children and teenagers in the show, he stood out the most. He was mature for his age and very funny at times. I can't remember a moment when I ever hated Max. I love the scenes when he had a crush and bumped into everything, it just added to his character. Sebastian was also a briliant actor, even more amazing for his age. I actually grew to like him even more after he left, as the character had so much potential.

i love Rachel. I think her portrayal of a doctor was so realistic - especially with Matilda, questioning her bulimia.

Also her acting was amazing and touching when her mum died. So sad.

My favourite character is Rocco, becasue he might be a ex gang member, but he seems so shy and he's a bad boy trying to be good, I feel he is a deep character, becasue he has done nad thing but at the same time is trying to right his live.

Ok, big surprize here - my favourite character is Sally. She's always there for everyone, she's just someone you feel like you can talk to. She cares about everyone, she's willing to give anyone a chance and Kate is a BRILLIANT actress.

I'd have to say Gypsy. I loved how feisty she was. I remember when she cheated on Will and was seemingly disliked by the rest of Summer Bay, but she still had the courage to stop Sally's marriage to that guy (who's name escapes me now) when he had been coming on to her.

I love Kirsty and Kane too.

My favourite is Matilda because she's a great actress and her character changed a lot from when she first came.
