I actually also want to pick Irene. I think she is a brilliant character. She is one of the characters I remember the most from when I first started watching H&A. I think she is a person we would all love to turn to when we were down or needed advice. She is always there for everyone and her door is always open.

My favourite character ever, thats hard. It'll have to be between Jack and Martha, but im going to go with Martha. She is just amazing, in a good and bad way. Like when she is sane, she is awesome, ok yes she nags and whinges a lot, but that only just reminds me of me. Her stubborness and fiestiness is just like me, and i love it. On the outside she comes out to be a tough woman who stands up for what she believes in, and i admire her for that, btu deep down she is just a lost puppy dog that needs someone to love her. Even though she has screwed up one too many times in her 2 years in the Bay, i alwayz find it hard to hate her. Like when i read in TV Week that Martha sleeps with Ashton while Jack is in hospital, oh how i tried to hate her, but for me thats hard. She is the only character from all the shows i watch, that i can actually relate to personality wise, so in what she does, coz im not like that :P But what i love about her the most, would be the drunk Martha, which we'll get to see a lot of this week and in weeks to come. And she is a gorgeous gal, and therefore my favouritest character on this show ever.

I would have said Jack, but all i love about him are his gorgeous brown eyes, sexy Holden smile, well basically his striking good looks, and his sexiness in that uniform of his  But i can say that about all the guys on the show, not including the uniform part :P

I'm really going back here, but Bobby Simpson was my all-time favourite character. She was tough with a heart of gold and beautiful in an unconventional way. Her storylines if somebody crossed her were classic (such as the early spats with Donald before she found out he was her father). She came across as really warm and sincere and somebody you could have a great laugh with. She was feisty and had some of the best storylines H & A has ever seen. The Bobby, Frank, Roo love triangle was the only love triangle I really, really enjoyed in the show. In second place would be Angel. She had a real interesting backstory and her romance with Shane was brilliant.

There are so many to pick from, but i'd have to say Tasha is my all time fave ever since she was on the show. She was very unique and not like the rest of the teens on the show and she always had good ans challenging storylines and her Robbie were 1 of my top 5 couples they were good together, Robbie was another 1 of my faves he was a real dopey guy in a cute way

Jade Sutherland - I loved her from the day she arrived until the day she left. She was caring, put others before herself, and considerate of others feelings. She was very well portrayed, despite the fact she was often overshadowed by her sisters. She also had one of the best teen relationships (in my opinion) in the show.

Others I would like to mention are Sam Marshall, Don Fisher, Justine Welles and Max Sutherland.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Jade and Nick, but I do think their relationship deserves credit for being realistic. It showed that teenagers aren't always breaking up and making up over stupid things and that it is possible for young people to have a mature, loving relationship.
