Do they find out hes still alive as they havent been mentioned yet, or do they still think hes dead?

As in the past peter and his parents havent always got on.

I guess we just have to assume that was sorted out off screen, although come to think of it, given that they havent always gotten on in the past, it may have been interesting to watch.

Hasn't it been the other way around? He never got on with his parents for becoming a cop, so Dan became the star child?

From what I remember his parents weren't happy that he left to be a cop and the whole affair with Amanda/his brother's wife. It seems as though Dan has always been the star child. But Peter sorted things out with his parents at Dan and Leah's wedding.

I think biggles meant if Peter's parents found out that he was alive and in witness protection since he appeared from the 'dead.'
