I can't believe Jack & Martha won either. I think they are okay, though I'd rather they were lower down in the top 10 at least. They're like Kirsty and Kane, there is no middle ground. Flynn/Sally, Vinnie/Leah had that extra special something that makes them more deserving imo.

I may have got this wrong, but didn't Flynn like have a lil kinda affair with Leah or something? Think he liked her? I'm not too sure, memory like a fish. I've always wondered what went off with Leah, now may be a good time to ask. Any help?

Flynn and Leah developed feelings for each other when she was carrying baby Pippa. They kissed, but it never went any further. Jesse broke up with Leah because of it, while Flynn and Sally decided to put it behind them. It was mainly a case of Flynn getting his feelings for the baby confused with his feelings for Leah, and Leah being all hormonal. It all blew over pretty quickly.

With regard to the poll, personally I wouldn't put JM at the top (I wouldn't even put them in the top ten, but that's just me...). But a poll like this will always reflect the flavour of the month. In a year or two they won't poll so high. Despite this, I think it's great that oldies like Leah and Vinnie are still getting the recognition they deserve. It would have been nice if KK had made the top five, but ho hum.

There is quite a gap between number 1 and 2 in the most hated couples.

I never liked Kim with anyone..I just dont like Kim ,Glad that KK is high up on the list aswell..I have never liked them either.

I know it was very sick and wrong but I actually liked Graham and Amanda together. I know there was no love but it was a good story and full of drama!! Poor Holly though!!I also hated Kim and Hayley together. And Brodie and Alex they were probably my worst.

Flynn and Leah kissed, yeah, and like the supercouple they were Sally and Flynn put it behind them. They didnt split up because Flynn worked a few extra hours at the hospital. Thats why Sally and Flynn should be no 1 instead of J&M!!

To be honest I hold back on this forum a fair bit when it would come to this sort of debate; with a lot of the members being extremely & strongly opinionted and the ganging up that happens if you dislike a couple, in particular the winners of the poll. But at the moment, I'm finding a lot of the comments that some are making towards others extremely stupid.

Firstly yea this post is gonna be biast. Why? Because I love the couple that came first. And even if I would have prefered if Sal and Flynn were 1. I'm going to admit on a forum where it's like having leprosy to be a fan that I love J&M and they got my 5 points.

Correct me If I'm wrong but wasn't the point of the poll to find out who the mojority thought were the best couple? They may be a silent majority around here but none the less they won; fair and square. And believe it or not if the poll was to be re-done they might not get first place but I do think they'd still get fairly high up. . Shocking isn't it? To think that their fans would still have an opinion supporting them. Even after countless attacks on their personal opinion of taste because guess what? You can't make someone think like you. Such a shame.

And then there's the comments about assuming why a fan likes them. "Only because they're a pretty couple". Oh please. Have you taken a look at half the cast these days? They're pretty much all attractive; extremely attractive. I'd personally say Matilda and Lucas were a much 'prettier couple' but I wouldn't go and say that their fans only like them for their looks because it's none of my business why someone likes a couple and you can never be sure of their reasons.

In other words if you hate J&M go right ahead and blast them off the screen, bash them to your heart's content, but don't get personal with the fans because they'll come back to bite your head off with good reason. On the other hand I'm glad Wil & Gypsy & Leah & Vinnie are in the top 5. And it's nice to see Noah & Kit higher than I thought they would be too.

I have absolutely no problem with people not liking J&M - their opinion, that's fine, but like Jamey Maria said, why do you have to scorn everything about them at every possible moment? Ok, so yea, J&M are only one of many of my favourite couples. I'm not trying to say that they should have been at the top, but that summary was so biased! Most other couples got some kind of nice comment, but no, the J&M summary had to have points about nobody knowing why they're popular, or that they're only liked becaus they're attractive. The same happened when Jack got to No5 in the Favourite Character poll. Yes, if you look at it in the sense that couples from the current year have more weighting (etc.. ) then J&M technically would not be first. But the poll was taken in 2006, and judging on their popularity this year, J&M are favourites. That shouldn't mean that they deserve to get a sarcastic summary about them being no more than a pretty couple. Other couples didn't get that - certainly not the ones in the top 10 or so. I mean, you could have put something nice in there for once. And you also didn't fail to mention how they only won by a few points either. They won. Deal with it. They didn't get 196 points for nothing. Maybe the reason J&M fans are so pro-JM is because they constantly have to back up their choice because no one here who isn't a fan, can be fair about them. Yea, I'm not saying everyone, and I can see and appreciate that some have stopped - which I thank you for. But still, that unfair summary given to them, still shows up that some of you can't just ever leave it alone. However, having said that, I do think Sally and Flynn should have been No 1.
