Reo Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 Before Jack and Martha became a couple i really liked them,Jack being smug over Martha and Martha always being angry at Jack,It was funny,Then the dares and finally them getting together..It sort of went alittle down hill for me then,I still liked them..But not as much..When they got married,They had no clue what it was all about and never gave it a chance,It was all moaning and arguing..Martha saying that Jack isnt spending time with her and when Jack does try she has given up without even trying..Thats not a good couple.

What's with all the "people only like MJ because of x,y,z" comments? If you don't like them, fine. Bash away. But don't make out that their fans are thick teeny boppers or something.

And if they do win *hopes* then it will be because of that reason. If Sally and Flynn do win then they deserve it just as much, if not more, because of everything that they had to deal with when they were together

No offence to J&M fans but I dont think they should be in the top five either. I think people are just voting for them because they are a couple of the moment kind of thing, even though they're not a couple!! The same way Lucas and Mattie are higher than Noah and Hayley. Only because they are a recent couple but by no means one of Home and Away's greatest.

I, personally do agree Jack and Martha don't deserve a top 5 status, but it's a popular couples vote, and no one can deny that they are popular. Overated maybe, but still popular.

Granted, the writers turned them into a pair of fighting babies in the brief time they were married, but no other couple has ever really been as popular as them, from day one they've had a massive fan basis. Why? bacause they have a spark that can't be explained, and that not many other couples have.
