The only reason most people like them is because they fancy Jack and think Martha is pretty, there isn't much else to like about them, they are both whiny and selfish and the only reason they were married so soon was just a plot device, they just needed an occasion for Zoe and Tracey to blow up and Jack and Martha's wedding seemed like the perfect event! Totally pointless and shallow couple, they just happen to look nice together.

Reo Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 Im glad that there are 2 old couples in the top 5..It shows that there are still quite a few viewers who do remember the old times and dont go for fad couples. I am still hoping for Sally and Flynn number 1.. I really dont like the thought of Jack and Martha being 1st or 2nd,But they are one of them. I think they arent a great couple at all,Not together long,Barely serious..Wedding was only something for Zoe to cause a disaster..If Zoe was never at that stage i doubt they would of written a wedding for them.

Reo Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I agree.. I like both Martha and Jack but as a couple,Their prime was at the start just before they got together,All the dares and stuff..As a couple they shouldnt be in the top 5. In their whole relationship they were never serious.

I actually think Sal and Flynn were pretty amazing, they went through so much together. But if im honest, i want JnM to win. But thats just my opinion, no one elses

They met,The fell in love,They tried so hard to get Baby Pippa,They had rough times but always got through it..The only thing that ended them was something they couldnt control. Martha and Jack were selfish and had no idea what it took to be apart of a relationship,One whined and didnt give it any chance..The other only thought of himself and didnt take into count the feelings of his partner.
vale4eva Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I completely agree with your comment about Sally and Flynn Reo, and if you take on their history as a whole and compare it with every other relationship then yes they probably do deserve to win. I also agree that Martha and Jack didnt fully understand what it takes to be married, but if you look at them as a couple before they got married, maybe you'l start to see why everyone likes them so much. Wether they deserve to win it in your eyes or not they were great to watch and consequently still have a lot of fans. The scenes both before and during their relationship made great TV. I guess it depends on what your looking for in a TV couple.
