Chapter Nine It had been almost three weeks since Kit had arrived although she had taken no legal action against Martha and Jack she still wanted Nicole back. Kit and Tony were alone in the house and the atmosphere was absolutely terrible and Tony could no longer contain himself “Were do you get off Kit” Tony said out of the blue “Excuse me” she replied “Coming back here and ruining my son and daughter in laws lives and their daughters” Tony said with emphasis on the word their. “Hey she’s my daughter too” Kit shouted “You gave her away remember” A voice shouted back a voice she expected to be on her side. “Hey you’re supposed to be on my side” Kit said as she turned to Maddie “Yeah well do you know how long Martha and Jack have longed for Nicole do you” she said Kit shook her head “Nah I didt think so they have had 5 miscarriages and already one attempted adoption and now you come back and expect us all to be on your side, well news flash Kit it don’t work like that Martha and Jack are my family too and im sorry to say im siding with them” Maddie said as she went to unaware that Beth had heard everyword “You come back and say you’re sorry to your sister right now” Beth demanded “No im going to see Martha” Maddie said and walked out the door. Marth was making Nicole’s bottle while Jack was playing with her on the floor well Nicole was look up at the ceiling while Jack made funny noises Martha though this was the perfect opportunity and got the camera out who knows maybe these photos will be all she has left, Martha walked towards the sideboard picked up the camera and started to take photos of Jack and Nicole. Martha POV “If Kit takes her away from us I really do not know how I will cope would I kill myself maybe? I honestly cant answer that question but maybe Jack was right about just up and leaving I now my friend in England would put us for a couple of months well 5 months just till she’s legally ours! No Martha you can’t do but it seems like the best option at the moment!” Martha was suddenly awoken from her thoughts from a friendly voice. “Hey guys” Maddie said “and hows my gorgeous niece, don’t worry im on your side she still my niece even if she wasn’t Kits Jack my big bro” Maddie said proudly “Gee thanks lil sis” he said sarcastically “Haha, no seriously I had a big fight with Kit before and mum was trying to get me to say sorry when kits the one who’s called all this trouble in the 1st place” Maddie said “Whoa Maddie take a breather” Martha joked just as the phone rang “Hello” Martha said as she answered it “Martha its Laura im afraid I have some bad news” she began “Kit and her mum have been in and well their suing you and Jack for custody of Nicole but there are no papers drawn up yet so if you Jack and Nicole wanted to take lets say a family holiday then you are perfectly within you rights too just don’t tell anyone were your going” she said Martha dropped the phone and ran from the house in floods of tears “Martha wait what’s up” Jack asked her confused by her outburst “Maddie watch Nicole please” he added while he ran after Martha. Preview?? Can Matilda be trusted with Nicole!?

Adia Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Yay an update! I was so glad that Maddie was on thier side, but then i read the teaser and I was all like OMG! Stupid Beth and Kit suing them for custody... I'm very angry with them. But great writing! I love it! Can't wait to see what happens and if they'll go on thier... "holiday".
