It would've been a clever twist if they made us think it was Tracey from the abattoir episode and then when Zoe barged in with her as a hostage and let her go, Claire stepped out from behind and shot her as she attempted to run towards Peter. At least then there would've been some truth to the whole "The twist has to be bigger than before." speech. ... And I think I should steer clear of this thread. You've completely made me betray Tracey.

All I do is keep going over how it could have been better, and they built it up to sound so brilliant. After that excellent 2005 finale, I can't believe how things turned out. Grrr! It's funny but the other day I was thinking about 2005 and all the stuff that happened that year, then I was looking through the episode guides to check up on what's left of the 2006 season of H&a here in the UK and started thinking back on what's happened. I thought about all the Believers stuff, Rachel and Kim starting their relationship, Dr Helpman's sexual harrasment, the Josh West murder etc etc. I actually completely forgot about Zoe for a while, it only occured to me later! Just goes to show her huge twist wasn't that memorable!
Oxidizer Posted February 1, 2007 Report Posted February 1, 2007 I know! It's so frustrating that they decided to make Zoe a plot device in Peter's storyline rather than her own. They should've had it so she returned without Peter knowing about her being alive and bring him back AFTER everyone in the Bay knew she was still alive. And they should've made her kill at least one main character. I miss Eve. She was cold-hearted and determined. Zoe was more playful and didn't take it all that seriously. Maybe it's because she moved on from Sarah and just wanted to toy with Peter for a while. The only thing I liked about 2006!Zoe was 'Maxine Trood' and her new love for guns.
