Eve/Zoe's transfer to the city

I would love to have seen everybody try to escape and for there to be a huge showdown between her and some of the other residents.

That would've been so much better. And if she had a gun tucked in the back of her pants then she could get rid of those whose contracts were expiring. It would've been a better exit storyline than just leaving.

As much as it pains me to say it, I think Sarah caused more of an impact than Zoe did. At least she actually killed a main character. <_<

I was going to say, Zoe killed a main character too

but he came back from the dead

They should of left that as a cliffhanger episode. Had people frantic, running around with their heads cut off the next episode, with the whole explanation, then blow up the shed, then next episode do the aftermath.

Mod Edit for UK spoiler.

UKfanatic, I agree. Why didn't they all just run for the door? She didn't have a gun or anything did she?

No! Well, not that we could see anyway. I guess the reason they did it this way was to show how utterly terrified everybody was of her, but it just turned it into such an anticlimax IMO.

It was a stupid ending.

I would've been happy for Zoe to have died and stayed dead if they showed in flashbacks how she and Tracey met and the escape etc.

And a cake? Seriously. She should've struck a match or lit up a lighter or something.

Those people in that barn didn't even look scared. They were panicking more over the videotape she made than her actually on a murderous rampage. I mean seriously; WTF?

Besides which, for THAT size of exoplosion, someone would have smelled the gas way before then. On the other hand, if the gas had only just been turned on then there's no way the explosion would be that big.

Word.

There were so many flaws with that episode. Shame they couldn't have took time and thought it out thoroughly, least then they might've came up with a decent end.

As much as it pains me to say it; I think they should've kept her dead from 2005. From the Felix stuff until then the storyline's had decent 'endings' where it would've been a good place to finish, but when it comes to the actual ending there's loads of loose ends. So annoying.

I agree. She should have stayed dead after 2005. I was never a fan of her coming back.

For 2006 I think a series of coincidences together with people's paranoia could have led them to believe she's alive. Leading to investigations, fear etc. Let's face it Zoe didn't actually appear much anyway so the storyline wouldn't have been that different. And as we saw from both Sally and Leah's dreams in 2005, the fear that she was still out there was still playing in the backs of their minds.

I think it would have been a more interesting and psychological angle to take with the storyline. Where Zoe IS dead, but the townspeople talk themselves into believing she isn't, and we (the audience), don't really know either way. She could have appeared in a few more dreams etc like she did with Peter.

I also think it would be realistic that the Summer Bay Stalker would continue to haunt the people of Summer Bay in this way. More realistic than "I jumped in a corner and survived and the body they found? Oh that was my friend who I conveniently never mentioned before"

I would've been cool with that. As long as Emily Perry returned in new footage it would've been very satisfying indeed.

As much as I love Tracey, I'm surprised Claire wasn't the accomplice. Would've made some sense out of the tyre factory explosion survival thing.

That's exactly how I guessed Tracey was evil. Apart from that, she basically WAS claire... playing the exact same role. So why bring in a different character instead of bringing back claire? It was so obvious (once the penny dropped, which for me was the episode of Zoe's arrest).

But yeah, actually bringing Claire back AND making her the accomplice would have been a much more satisfying shock.
