Eve/Zoe's transfer to the city

When Eve was transferred to the city just before she escaped with Tracey's help why weren't the other people who helped transfer her investigated?

From watching the episode where she's taken to the van it would seem that Evan Rice (the pyro) helped transfer and therefore possibly helped her escape.

Any thoughts???

(gah, I've just realised that I've called her Zoe in the thread title)

Oh and here's a pic to prove it:

I think they were a bit preoccupied with the explosion aftermath and wanted to sweep the whole thing under the carpet and move on with their lives.

Not exactly the law but there were a lot of corrupt officers in 2006. :P

Rice was at the wedding so i think he just took her to the van and then left..

Then it would of been a driver and I imagine another cop and Tracey taking her..

I always thought that Tracey did something to these other cops and then got Eve out and the other 1 or 2 werent involved in it..Even though it was never said how she escaped.

Well Tracey was there and she was working with Zoe. So I'm guessing Tracey pulled out her gun and shot the driver or something... Actually, this is another thing that wasn't explained well... Gah, stupid writters!

The biggest problem I had with this major plot hole was that Peter, the man who was so determined in his fight against Zoe that it took him to the brink of insanity twice, the cop who became so personally involved and became so obssessed with Zoe that he was having nightmares about her and shooting innocent men thinking it was her, who spent months and months living, eating, sleeping, and beathing "The Stalker", the man who even after capturing Zoe, was convinced that she was still up to something and knew she had a backup plan....

.... was quite happy to let two totally random people drive her off to the city while he attended a wedding.

An excellent point Ste. You'd think after the number of sleepless nights he'd had, and the huge amount of time that he had been tracking her down both times, that he'd have wanted to see it through the end. In fact, the way he was worrying about it the whole time he was at the wedding begs the question: why didn't he just go with them?

I guess this way, they knew that they could have Peter at the barn with the rest of the town, and that Zoe could then turn up with her accomplice to get her revenge without any interruptions along the way. Personally, I think this was just an easy way of finishing it all off quickly when they could have still done so much more with it. It would have been far better if Zoe and TT had turned up together with Peter as their hostage or something IMO. This way, we would have seen all the residents helpless without Peter protecting them.

To be honest, the end of that episode was ridiculous. The way everyone went frantic when Zoe came in then she says 'Stay where you are' and everybody just stays. I would love to have seen everybody try to escape and for there to be a huge showdown between her and some of the other residents.

Anyway, I think I've gone way off topic here so I'll shut up! Once I get going discussing the stalker sequel, I can't help but start giving my opinions on how it could have been better!

The whole 'Zoe is back from the dead was quite bad, IMO"

The writers had to cut down on time, and cut out on most of the V. important scenes!

The ones that explain to us everything that happened so it made sense!!! Argh.

I don't believe anything was cut for time. Why were pointless scenes like Belle and Ric squabbling left in? I think the "the most important scene of the episode was cut out to save time" excuse was just made up after the complaints came flooding in and the writers realised they had seriously messed up.

UKfanatic, I agree. Why didn't they all just run for the door? She didn't have a gun or anything did she?
