simmins Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 Neighbours moving to FIVE will have a postive effect on Home & Away's ratings, (hopfully it would get more than Neighbours). On the same channel, it would be a fair competiton to see which is really better in the viewing figures.
Hellboy Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I think depending on the given timeslot for Neighbours (and the hope that Five will be able to show it straight after the BBC stop showing it) it will get more viewers for the first 6-8 months. After then, I think it will be a mixture of the two i.e. they'll all be mixed about in the top 20 for Five's ratings. Anyone else care to predict what they think? It'll certainly be interesting to see what happens.
ter06 Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 I hope they show Neighbours at 5.30pm then keep H&A on at 6. That way they could show a promo for H&A after Neighbours. It would be the death of H&A if they put in on at 6.30pm as this is when Hollyoaks is on and no two of the soaps can go up against each other. Look at what happened Eastenders last week when it went up against Emmerdale. It got its lowest ever audience share and its second lowest ever ratings.
ter06 Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 Latest figures for Five Life show a first look episode of H&A got 654,000 putting it in the top ten for cable shows that week. Nine out of Five Life's top ten shows were H&A!!
