Hellboy Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Thought it would be interesting to set up a UK Home and Away ratings thread since sometimes it seems to be discussed in the Australian thread. Ratings generally hover just below the 2 million mark. Here are some figures people may find interesting: Year w/e Day (Wednesday) 2007 14/01 1.59 2006 15/01 2.01 2005 16/01 1.93 2004 18/01 2.35 Nothing particularly conclusive here. Just thought it would be interesting to compare ratings from around the same time each year. Ratings for week ending 14/01 6 HOME AND AWAY (MON 1801) 1.95 8 HOME AND AWAY (TUE 1800) 1.81 9 HOME AND AWAY (THU 1759) 1.76 10 HOME AND AWAY (FRI 1800) 1.68 13 HOME AND AWAY (WED 1759) 1.59
Hellboy Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Millions 1st Showing 2nd Showing 1 HOME AND AWAY (THU/FRI) 3.24 2.16 0.42 2 HOME AND AWAY (MON/TUE) 2.99 2.25 0.50 3 HOME AND AWAY (WED/THU) 2.92 1.93 0.47 4 HOME AND AWAY (TUE/WED) 2.84 2.11 0.34 6 HOME AND AWAY (FRI/SAT) 2.53 1.87 0.66 I thought people might be interested in seeing the ratings for the first time Home and Away aired on Five. I thought it was interesting that the Thursay 1st Showing gained the most viewers yet the Friday 1st showing has the least. To be honest I really would have thought that Monday's would have been the highest!
Hellboy Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Since people are so interesting. w/e 21/01/07 7 HOME AND AWAY (MON 1800) 1.89 8 HOME AND AWAY (TUE 1800) 1.81 9 HOME AND AWAY (THU 1801) 1.80 10 HOME AND AWAY (FRI 1800) 1.74
Hellboy Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 Ratings for Week Ending 28/01/06 5 HOME AND AWAY (FRI 1800) 1.94 6 PRISON BREAK (MON 2201) 1.91 7 HOME AND AWAY (TUE 1800) 1.87 8 HOME AND AWAY (THU 1800) 1.79 9 HOME AND AWAY (WED 1800) 1.77 10 HOME AND AWAY (MON 1800) 1.66 Overall not outstanding ratings when compared with other soaps (infact it's the lowest) but Five wil be happy that H&A has quite a loyal audience that stick with it. Most episodes get in the top 10 for five of the week which is good. Week Ending 31/12/06 6 HOME AND AWAY (THU 1800) 1.56 8 HOME AND AWAY (WED 1800) 1.47 10 HOME AND AWAY (FRI 1800) 1.34 13 HOME AND AWAY (TUE 1801) 1.18 I really don't think Five should show H&A on X-mas week. Ratings were poor for it this year over Christmas. Even though it means we catch up, it could mean the loss of viewers. Monday's episode doesn't even appear in the top 30 for Five. . . Must be some sort of mistake.

Ryan Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 Hellboy, do you know how many people watch Five Life the day before or has the show lost 500,000-800,000 viewers.
Hellboy Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 Barb have just started releasing the figures for Five Life and Five US. Five Life-w/e 29/04/2007 1 HOME AND AWAY (Tue 1828) 706,000 2 HOME AND AWAY (Wed 1829) 666,000 3 HOME AND AWAY (Mon 1829) 660,000 4 HOME AND AWAY (Thu 1828) 599,000 5 HOME AND AWAY (Fri 1828) 595,000 6 EXTRAORDINARY PEOPLE:... (Mon 2200) 102,000 7 DAWSON'S CREEK (Mon 1901) 89,000 8 HOME AND AWAY (Sat 1145) 75,000 9 DAWSON'S CREEK (Wed 1901) 72,000 10 DAWSON'S CREEK (Thu 1900) 66,000 five- w/e 29/04/2007 Programme Millions 8 HOME AND AWAY (MON 1800) 1.60 9 HOME AND AWAY (WED 1801) 1.55 10 HOME AND AWAY (TUE 1801) 1.52 12 HOME AND AWAY (THU 1800) 1.48 14 HOME AND AWAY (FRI 1800) 1.40 The Five Life figures are *very* good. As long as we can safely assume people aren't watching the Five Life showing and then watching it again on Five the next day it looks at though the figures are exceeding the two million mark which is more than this time last year when there was only Five and no Five Life.
Ryan Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 I'd say there's some crossover, I was just slightly worried tht they seemed so long, but the show is still rating steadily.
