QUIET ACHIEVER Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 Although I'm not a JM fan, I do like the different colourings that you've done with the avatars and the way you slant the pictures. I only seem to be able to slant the text in my creations - how did you manage to slant the pictures in your avs, Lauren? Have a safe trip and a good weekend in London.
bttb-rox! Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 Thank you very much . To be honest...I'm not really a JM fan either! They're 'cute', but apart from that...I can't really see the fascination some people have with them! Although I'm sure JM lovers would disagree with that hugely . Actually, I'm not in London today. My cold has returned (if it ever went away in the first place!) so I decided to leave it. However, I am going tomorrow . This is how I did the slanting effects on some of the JM avs, QUIET ACHIEVER: 1. I selected 'Layers' from the main menu and then clicked on 'Rotate/Zoom. 2. Then I titled the picture. 3. After that, I panned over the picture to include part of the other tiled pictures. 4. Finally, I fiddled with the 'Roll/Rotate' settings to get the avatar looking how I wanted it too look. Just an example... It's not all that hard. However, the picture can come out looking a bit 'strange' if you're not careful with how you slant it .
Varsha Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 what program do you use to make those, Lauren?
Jazer Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 Hey Lauren (Coco)!! It's been a long time since I have posted in your thread but it looks like you have improved quite alot since I last posted here. Those Jack & Martha avatars look stunning. Anyway I have started making graphics again but its been awhile so they might not look that great.
