QUIET ACHIEVER Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Thanking you very much Lauren for the Tony/Rachel set - it's absolutely and utterly gorgeous. Much appreciated!! Lauren, out of curiosity, how did you get the smaller pictures in the box to blend into the signature? Would you be able to point me in the right direction of a tutorial, please? Also, the Lete avs are also really nice and creative with your colourings and blending. The Jules avs are very unique too.

No worries, Tanya! And thank you too! Thanking you very much Lauren for the Tony/Rachel set - it's absolutely and utterly gorgeous. Much appreciated!! This is how I got the boxes to go into the signature (it's very easy!): 1. I made two 100 x 100 avatars. 2. After that, I copied them into Microsoft Powerpoint and added a white 0.75 pt border around each of them. You add the border by right-clicking on the icon and clicking on... >>>Format Picture>>>Colour and Lines>>>Colour (white)>>>Weight (0.75). 3. Then I pasted the signature into PowerPoint. 4. Having added the text, I decided where to put the avatars. 5. I then clicked on the signature and pressed 'Ctrl', before selecting both of the avatars. By this point, both the signature and the avatars were selected. 6. Then I copied and pasted the whole thing into Paint.Net, and saved! I hope that was of some use to you! If you want to know anything else, just ask!
QUIET ACHIEVER Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 Thanks Lauren for the tutorial. When I have some time, I will fiddle with a creation that I made so that I can include two avatars. I'm only new at making signatures and blending two different pictures. I do it by trial and error. Simple avatars are much easier for me to make. I use Paint Shop Pro X1 but I'll give your suggestions a go. Thanks again
bttb-rox! Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 I use Paint Shop Pro X1 but I'll give your suggestions a go. You can basically use any program. Just 'copy and paste' the icons into the signature and you're done. It's as easy as that! Blending two pictures together is different. That involves layers and is slightly more complicated, but adding one or more avatars to a signature is fairly easy to pick up . All the best with creating your graphics!
bttb-rox! Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 This is a slightly edited version of the avatar used on the 'Tachel' sig... And this is a simple Jules av...
