Home and Away Mini Series or TV Movies

I was wondering if they made TV movies or Mini Series based on Home and Away characters but seperate to the show if people would watch them? They could have past characters or current characters or a mix of both. They could have one of Kirsty and Kane or Tasha and Robbie in the U.S. It will be kind of like the Heart's Divided and Secrets and the City DVD's but actually air on TV with a two hour length. What do you guys think?

I'm not sure. I've never really been that interested in seeing hearts divided/secrets in the city etc. I think it would depend on the storyline and the characters inolved.

I've only seen Secrets & The City, and that worked ok... I will watch one like Kirsty & Kane to see what happened after they did a runner, or a Zoe/TT to explain things more clearly... If they did one on Shelly & Rhys after the Bay I wouldn't watch, it will depend on the characters and the storyline.

I would have watched it, it would be interisting to see how they would live outside the bay

Now Home and Away is off for the Summer I think this idea will be awesome little summer movies, Irene going to visit Finlay for christmas. Donald and Marilyn reunite for the holidays. I think it will b e a great idea if they introduced TV movies on a sunday or something maybe before Home and Away returns sort of like the Pilot.

I think this would be a great idea. One showing Kirsty and Kane getting back together would be great. I would be cool to see what characters like Sam, Mitch and Nick are up to these days.

They could also explore more adult themes in TV movies or mini series perhaps?

Great ideas! I'd watch. I think it could also work to have one set in the Bay but a little look into some very minor or even unknown characters. You could just see Miles etc walking past in the background.
