And speaking of Peter, did anyone else find it strange that peter didn’t recognise is own mother at first but straight away knew it was hiro! I was like WTF!!

I've seen a sneak peak of the finale

Maya let slip that Sylar was without his powers, so Mohinder tried to knife Sylar, but then Sylar pulled a gun on him!

It was all very intense.

Regarding this week's episode (US),

where the hell is Matt? Why didn't he cross a line and force Molly to find that chick so he could get to her before Peter and Adam did? (I'm not sure that Mrs Petrelli gave him anything more than a name.) Unless he did force her, and that's why she's sleeping though everything, because she's exhausted... Anyway, now that the woman's long dead and he's back to square one, surely Matt has to come home at some point to find his family in a hostage situation?

I also found some cast inteviews from the set of the finale,

Sendhil and Zach particularly. They were both very excitied that Sylinder were back together, and Sendhil even said they had a "spark." They so do

Next week looks veeery interesting

Provided it's not too much about Peter, Adam, Hiro and the virus... because seriously, who actually believes it's going to be released? Better to be focussing on the plight of vulnerable individuals rather than the untouchable masses me thinks. Vulnerable individuals like M3 and Sylar...

What Seven called the "season finale" aired tonight - I guess they left us with a decent cliffhanger but I am seriously pissed off that Seven won't show the last two Volume 2 episodes and give us the same feeling of suspense as the Americans will be in this time next week.

I love Wednesdays night! I come home from work and go striaght on YouTube and sit and watch the US one, then at 9 watch it on bbc, then Heroes Unmasked then again on bbc3! Not looking forward to it ending next week! As least It's still online, well that is till US have a break for Christmas!

It's not actually the season finale. It's a mid season break. The states did this last time too only this time it goes until about Feb due to the writers strikes. Or something

It's the finale for "Volume 2" because they wrote it to be a complete season in case they didn't come back from the strike. When they come back from the break, it will be "Volume 3."

Yeah, and I think we're getting 3 volumes in one season? I'm unsure as to how many, but I know it's much more episodes than the normal 22-24 season.

No, Volumes 2 and 3 combined are making up Season 3, and there are 24 episodes between them. Then, hopefully, there's Heroes: Origins, a six part series which introduces a new hero every week and viewers (probably only US viewers) get to vote which one becomes a regular next year.
