Amazing episode tonight.  Especially knowing it included Lynne's final scene on her shooting schedule - the signing over to Leah.  Insane performance from Ada too, although you could tell there was very little acting involved.  The cup of tea metaphor running through the episode was *chefs kiss*

The flashbacks though were brilliantly chosen.  I didn't have Selena, Tasha and Belle on my bingo card for tonight!

Is "the trigger injection" what I think it is?!  As in, it's not a jibjab....

As romantic as it sounds, it's a hormone injection to prepare her eggs for collection. 😉

Lovely that they’ve raided the props cupboard to find A Letter to Byron, I actually wondered if it was actually living in the cupboards under the stairs on the Beach House set all these years for them to find it.

Nice to have a mention of Donald Fisher and Hayley, along with Will, Bella & Maddie. They could have shoehorned in a reference to Byron being Marilyn’s som for newer viewers, but glad they didn’t.

I wonder if Marilyn still has her copy? It actually made me realise that Maz is actually loosely connected to Roo & Alf with Byron being the half-brother of Alan, Rebecca & Bobby, which I’d never really thought about, or at least since Marilyn left Don.

Heart skipped a beat a A Letter To Byron!

It does feel like some historical groundwork has been done, when I realised nobody's coming back for this particular storyline I was a bit bummed but some respect for the long term fans is being paid.

Interestingly that's the third variation of the book we've seen on-screen - back in the day it was a fairly large landscape book. Then when Maz had her amnesia in 2015 we saw one with a different artwork on the front (an old lady instead of a baby), and now we have this smaller version. Guess it grew so popular they kept reprinting!

Looking back at the London book launch the promotional art was square rather than landscape (which I vividly remember the book being now you’ve said it). I wonder if they used that to recreate the book.

I’m appreciating the effort they’re making though.
