What would the characters be like?

I don’t think just because they show was aired at a later time slot the characters would all of a sudden start swearing or change personalities (i.e Cassie wouldn’t sleep with every man in the Bay because that isn’t her character).

How do we know that it isn't her character? We don't see it! Of course, this was just an example, but the theory is that as a teenager, would she be promiscuous?

What I mean is it isn’t in her character as far as I'm concerned as she is now - there have been characters in the past that were quite promiscuous (and it wasn’t a later time slot) - so if they wanted Cassie sleeping round, they would right that for her as she is now if thats part of her character, but they dont - so it isnt. If it was part of her character we would know about it – whether we saw it or not. So I reckon it would be changing her character if they suddenly had her sleeping around..

If the show was at a later time it would probably be better than it is and Five probably wouldn't edit it as much as they already do  . There would be more swearing and bitching :D and it would be like the Aus version of The OC. :D Amanda would be the Blonde version of Julie Cooper (which she already kinda is) :D

If the character of Cassie had have been dealt with from the start in a later timeslot, she might have ended up sleeping around as a result of being sexually abused - they would have gone into more detail about the affect that had on her. Although I do prefer it as it is now, with that having the opposite affect and making it hard for her to be intimate with people. I don't really see Cassie (as she is now) as the self-destructive type.

Belle on the other hand would be sleeping with EVERYONE, which I would put down to acting out against people who want to control her, even if that control is benificial to her (Irene trying to keep her from stealing, for example). I wouldn't mind betting that Drew would behave the same way. They practically do now, but I think it would be more obvious in a later timeslot.

I like to think that Lucas would be a bit darker as well. Perhaps he wouldn't be so friendly and polite all the time, seeing as his character wouldn't have to be a well behaved role model for the children. Or maybe he could still be like that on the surface, but they could explore something deeper and private with him, like the emotions that were brought up when he was rebelling. I'm really not sure how to describe it, but I get this great feeling off him that he could become a little disturbed.

Ah, I understand. Apologies. :)

How much more interesting Gypsy's storylines would have been...
