Kim, Tasha and Robbie??

*Cracks fingers. Clears throat.*

It's all Martha's fault.

1. Martha arrived and latched onto Tash.

2. Martha's dad arrived and Martha hated him.

3. Kim started working for Martha's dad in an attempt to provide a future for his child (Noah), so Martha hated him too.

4. Martha told Tasha and Robbie to jump to the same conclusions that she had about Kim, and Tasha said "How high?"

5. Robbie didn't hate Kim but had to stay away from him on the threat of Tasha leaving him; Martha encouraged Tasha to force Robbie to choose between his girlfriend and his best friend.

6. Martha's dad left and she got over it, not caring that she had driven a wedge between Kim and his only friends, not to mention Tasha and her closest relative (Josie).

7. Everyone pretended that it never happened and that everything was fine, when really the damage was done.

8. Kim, Robbie, and Tasha never fully trusted each other again, due to Martha's ability to turn them against each other so easily.

9. Martha accepted no such responsibility for the breakdown of Robbie, Tash and Kim's relationship. Instead she cemented herself as Robbie and Tasha's new best friend, having successfully cut Kim out of their lives.

10. Jack made the mistake of getting caught up by Martha's poisonous personality, and, like Robbie, Tash and Kim, he is now isolated and full of pain because of her.

Yes, I've thought about this often.

:D

Nah, I actually always liked the friendship between Robbie, Martha and Tasha - it seemed genuine; one of the few real ones on the show, and Martha and Rob was one of the very few female/male friendships that actually worked and didn’t descend into lusting/flirting. It's just a shame Kim had to sacrificed for that to happen <_<

Em, whilst i do agree with most of your posting, i don't agree with the reason why Tasha went along with it. (I realise it's your opinion, i don't mean to belittle it in any way)

I do agree that Tasha did turn her back on Kim for Martha, and i fully agree with your explanation of Robbie. But i think with Tash, at first it was because she got sucked in with this whole "Martha really hates her dad storyline" and then it continued for reasons of "moral outrage". I don't think it was because she wanted to go against Kim, neccessarily, like Martha made out - with the whole concert debachle - but the whole corperation. It seemed, to me, like for a while Martha's hatred was directed towards Kim, whereas Kim seemed to just be part of it for Tash - she was more angry at Josie if i remember correctly.

It has to be remembered that Tasha sacrificed a lot more than just Kim for Martha - probably due to naivity, lets face it, the exact same thing happened with the Believers - she also sacrificed Josie, for a long time anyway.

I also think Rachel did distract Kim quite a lot from any friendships he might have. In the UK though, Robbie and Kim have been hanging out quite a lot recently, after they got back from the bush, although once again, always being disrupted by Rachel. It's always been my thought that the writers want to revisit this relationship, but storylines keep getting in the way. Whereas, setting RT up with Martha has been easy, as - other than Jack - she has no real use on the show ATM.

One piece of evidence that makes me believe the writers love Robbie, Kim and Tasha (as i do) is:

When Robbie and Tash left, and they showed the hugs, they showed both Robbie and Tasha kissing/hugging Kim, whereas only Robbie was shown hugging Martha. I know Tash had that scene with her earlier on in the episode, but HA! No Mac/Tash hug in the final scene!

Probably not in any way significant, but i saw it and thought "Ha!"

**Another thought, related to the point Em made about Tash going on Kim's "mother-finding expedition" :P, not really related actually. That story and scene was completely ripped off, barely a year later with Ric and Belle. They go to the house, determined to find their mother, knock on the door, woman says "It isn't me", then shuts the door, and rings somebody ... in secret. Pah**

My Two cents xxx

Urgh, i may be wrong on the H&A timeline for some of this :P

Nah, all that sounds pretty right to me. I still feel like whatever happened to Tasha, she brought it on herself for abandoning Robbie and Kim. And Josie... Tasha's just too judgemental and self-righteous at times. It's annoying.

Kim was the one who was abandoned, so I find it hard to blame him, but I'll admit that he wasn't overly concerned with patching things up after the mess was made. He did try though, at times.

Robbie... well, I've just remembered that all this actually STARTED with him, when he thought he was dying and was forcibly pushing Kim and Tash away. I feel like they sincerely made up after that though and got back to normal, which is why I tend to blame Martha for the majority of the damage to their relationship. Still, having said that, Kim never did move back in with Robbie... :(

That spoiler you posted. That was very nice :)

I agree, Tasha is way too self righteous and judgemental, and especially considering her background it doesn't make sense for her to be like that.

I hated how she betrayed Josie on her wedding day, after Josie trusting her with a secret. And then she did it all over again with the Macklin development, when Josie tried to explain the truth to Tasha several times but she wouldn't give her the time of day. On both these occasions Josie forgave Tasha without hesitation and yet people hated Josie and loved Tasha. I find that annoying.

I was also disappointed in Tasha on Josie's wedding day but everyone thinks Tasha is a sweet innocent girl and Josie was just the dirty vice girl.

Tasha was so selfish at the wedding! What was she achieving by opening her big mouth? nothing! All she was doing was breaking hearts. Sure, Jesse had the right to know but should it have come from her? no. It should have been left between Josie, Jesse and Marc.

Josie would have been worse of in the long run, having to keep the secret.
