Anyone else who doesn't care about Emily?

Watching it play out, I feel that this isn't about Brad & Sally getting closer at all.

Yesterday I actually felt like crying while I was watching the episode. Though we know hardly anything about Emily, there is just something about her that makes me feel sad. Maybe it is because of the friendship angle with Sally.

It is like Sally is being given a second chance at coping. Showing Brad how to cope with the whole thing.

Yeah I agree... It's more enjoyable (IMO) to just see it as it is on screen without thinking about what repercussions are gonna be or delve too deeply into the hows and whys of a storyline...

^^ I agree, it is enojoyable, but it would be even more so if it wasn't quite so blindingly obvious what was gonna happen. 'Cos, I mean, c'mon, you'd know what was gonna happen,

assuming Kate Ritchie doesn't leave

, even if you'd only been watching the show at UK pace.

say the scene Beth shouts at Amanda after the funeral, again it could have been done better IMO I loved the glares and the slight raising of Beth's voice, but it could have been made bigger, maybe a slap across the face after another snide remark or something...

Sorry for going off on a tangent...

Beth did attempt to slap (and I mean really slap like the ShelleySlap of 2004) Amanda later on in the episode but was annoyingly stopped by Tony.

I will forever hate Tony for that. Realistically I know it was a decent thing for him to do... but really, after months of build up, we deserved to see Beth give Amanda a huge backhanding.

So yeah, Tony, you suck 4EVA.

I go through different feelings about the Emily storyline. Sometimes I get annoyed at the far too obvious outcomes for Brad and Sally. But I actually really like Emily. She was inoffensive and I could see why so many people liked her. In isolation, away from the Sally and Brad stuff, the storyline was perfectly fine to me. It entertained me and induced all the right reactions.
