Do tell...? All I can think of is Mattie and Henry... and I might have imagined that.

EDIT: Actually, I must have imagined that because I thought Henry was gay

There is only one couple I desperately want to see. The subtext was great, but the fantastic chemistry really needs to be explored in its entirety:

Jesse and Peter

What subtext? I have trouble remembering anything I don't have on tape

My goodness, where do I begin?!

I can't recall any particualr quotes offhand, but it was all in the eye contact and body language really.

There was the eye-sparkling, knowing smile that both of them did in every scene together, especially when Peter was "arresting" Jesse. Peter also di this thing where he would sort of open his jacket a bit and put his hands on his hips whenever he encountered Jesse. All right, Ill stop there.

And don't even get me started on those handcuffing scenes.....

Perhaps I am the only who saw all of this....but I felt the subtext was almost blinding. I remember feeling it in their every scene together. Best couple that never happened. :(

Well no one ever said "Henry is gay" but I feel there was a case for it. For one thing, how many other characters do you know that were on H&A and NEVER had a romance? Not one! Not even a "I really like her but she doesn't even know I exist" storyline... the closest he came to that sort of thing was with Ric or Diesel. He went to a lot of trouble to try and be their "friend."

Maybe that's why Tobi left. Maybe he didn't want to be the gay guy, and the writers had nothing else for him (and the idiot censors wouldn't let them go there properly anyway). I don't think I would have been too keen on it either, just quietly. If he was still going to school (the actor) it might have been a hassle. People sometimes have difficulty distunguishing between characters and real life, and I'd imagine that being "outed" on national TV, particularly if you weren't actually gay, would be kind of annoying. People can be idiots.

Then again, he might have just wanted to leave.
