AngelRose Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Sounds like my timing is fairly good for once! I see Leah only has 4 more before she overtakes Bobby.
Ryan Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 She's already overtaken Bobby, these are calculated to last years finale.
victim-ofthenight Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 bobby was in the soap 88- i believe 94? leah 2000-06 same length of time six years as leah is entering her seventh now she has already overtaken
Guest Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Yeh lol I would love to see Irene for 20 years (I could see that happing) and that makes her tie with either Sally or Alf?? but I reckon Leah is gonna be the longest serving cast member cause I read in an article two years ago and it had Hayley and Leah on the second page saying 'I want to stay on Home and Away for ever' but of course Bec Hewitt (Hayley Lawson) had to leave cause of her baby!! so I really think it's Leah!! but in my prediction I say most of the cast today will be gone by 2016!! (this is just my prediction)
Ryan Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Most of todays cast will be gone by the end of 2008.
victim-ofthenight Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 I agree with Ryan being realistic in this day and age with any soap apart from the originals from day one anyone coming into a soap rarely stays more than a year or 2 or maybe 1-2 seasons in the case of h&a we know for a fact Ray meagher will still be stoning them crows in 2008 but as Ryan pointing out most be gone. The youngsters have education and other work projects the stress and strain ends their careers early
Jack Holden Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Interesting that people say most of the current cast will be gone by or during 2008. Id have thought new characters like Drew and Belle might still be around. Possibly Ric, Mattie, Jack, Martha and Lucas Hayley stayed in the show for 7 years - I think she was the longest serving out of the teenage characters who have been in the show in recent years.
PeterK2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 I assume a 2-years contract is standard protocol when it comes to signing actors/actresses as if most of the crew will be gone by 2008 as several of them has arrived this year? Reading the posts above, I thought Bec left because she wanted to spend more time with Lleyton? If Bec was staying, she'd won't see a lot of him as he usually travels all over the world playing tennis and made the decision to leave?
