I think the advice about light banter was actually helpful as I seem to be having much more fun than when I completely rant about her.

That may have something to do with the fact that she's not on though...

I didn't let my skin crawl away to start a thread that was gonna purposely get bumped off <_< We have every right to hate Sam, just like anyone out there (if there is anyone!!) has every right to l- ... (can't say love) ... like her... I'm not gonna let my Sam-hating rights be taken away just because some people think I'm being intimidating or whatever. I'm offering an olive branch, and it's taking all my strength not to use that branch to slap Sam in the face. Don't undermine my PEACEFUL attempts!! >.<

I don't think I'd say I hate Sam, but I don't like her that much anymore. I used to like her at first, but they made her a bit annoying after she came back to the Bay.

I think she has the potential to become a really good character, but they have messed her up and I think that's just as much because of Martha as it is because of Sam. I'm not a JM fan at all (although I'd prefer they got together again as soon as possible, we all know it's going to happen sooner or later anyway) and I think they destroyed Sam as a prop in all that ridiculous JM drama. It's never been a Sam storyline, it has been Jack and Martha all the way and then just adding Sam to make it possible to drag it out further. If they wrote Martha away from this once and for all I think Sam would be a good character, but as long as they have the JM stuff on the table Sam will come across as annoying and obsessive because she's just a prop in The Neverending Story, also known as Jack&Martha.
