^^ Yup it was Scott's but they didn't find out untill he was born. One of the storylines I hated with a passion

Eurghh I agree, went on for weeks and every day of it bored me to death

I think it was boring because we (the audience) knew the baby was Scott's. Maybe they should have kept us in the dark like the characters were? Then it would have been more shocking. It would have ruined the suspense of course but as most people have said they didn't find it suspenseful they found it boring.

I often think that Home and Away goes down the wrong route when it comes to cliffhangers.

For example, even though we saw Will and Gypsy shagging in Irene's car in 2001, she was quickly enough together with Andrew to give us a choice.

However Geoff, Sally and Tom quickly sussed her out and more importantly we were told who the father was and we're given the much less intersting "Will Will find out?

Both last years and this years lost storyline followed the same idea.

It went on and on and on. Josie left, doctor free died all trying to tell them the truth! What is it with ths show? They prolong things too long! The paternity storyline, the chopper crash and the bush search went on for ages not to mention who dunnit saga of Josh West?

They prolong stuff for too long sometimes - although the stalker stuff was done in the right time first time round!

(sorry to get off topic)

I personally didn't hate the storyline about Scott and Kim because it lead to some interesting developments for the characters, like Kim's drug addiction. But i agree with Ste that maybe they should have kept the audience in the dark as well, (then they could have kept Josie on as the only person who knew the true results!) because it did seem that there were a lot of near misses presented.
