~Angel~ Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Does Anyone miss Flynn as much as me? I've started missing him alot since I saw Brad coming on screen. I don't want Sally and Brad to be a couple. I wish Flynn hadn't died.
Eli Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 He's still on here, but when I was watching today's episode I couldn't stop thinking how much I'm gonna miss him!
Bay_Mad Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Yeh Im missing him so much, I knew I would miss him as he was a much loved character but I didnt realise just how much!!! I really cant imagine Sally with anyone else but him, and not having him as a doctor in the hospital really sucks. This was my face when I first heard Flynn was going to die- And its still like that!! Im just so shocked they killed off such a great character!
ste Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 I don't miss him one little bit. Flynn will always be remembered - rightly - due to his extremely emotional death. But the truth is, before that he didn't really do much and he wasn't a very interesting character. He was great as part of the wonderful Sally+Flynn, but as a stand alone character, nah I don't miss him. That's no reflection on Joel McIlroy either, who is a very good actor.
Reo Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 He was my favorite character, who at times I found alittle hard to watch depending on the scenes he was doing,he is a good actor but at some points I think he was abit weak..I was watching the episode where Leah found out she couldnt have children and just Flynn in the whole episode, feeling guilty and trying to say sorry to Leah..I just think that was some of his weak stuff. But he was my favorite character and I was really sad to see him leave,I never liked Flynn when Martin played him,so it was all Joel..He suited Sally so much more. I talk to people that say that they really miss Flynn but they never really liked him before..It was his cancer storyline that made that,He was finally given a good acting challage and Kate and Joel were amazing with it.. I think most people that want him back want him back beacuse of not being able to see Sally with anyone else. And I want him back beacuse he is my favorite character and I dont want Sally with anyone else
*belle* Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Aww yeah I miss him loads. Joel's acting was always amazing and I couldn't fault it, especially his death, which had me close to tears. When paired with Sally his character really came alive and he was interesting and fun to watch, although as Ste said as a stand alone character he didn't really do much. If I could I'd bring him back, his characters missed lots on my part
TabbyCool Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 I agree with Ste. Before we knew he was dying, most of us probably weren't too fussed about Flynn as a character. His purpose was to be Sally's husband, which is nice for a while, but not exactly interesting enough to make the character particularly memorable. It was his cancer storyline that really allowed him to shine as a character and make us all like him so much. Whilst Joel was really good during the cancer storyline, I still think that the biggest merit should go to Kate Ritchie for her portrayal of Sally during that time, as it was her acting, not Joel's, that would make me cry every time she was on the screen.
c120701 Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Exactly. I didn't feel sorry for Flynn, I felt sorry for Sally.
Lakshya-KTrocks Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Joel and Kate had amazing chemistry , even i like Brad and Sally as a couple , but her chemistry and scenes with Joel were mezmerizing and believale and i cried a lot during the cancer storyline.

Yeah I agree, I did find it sad when he died and all that but I don't really miss him. I mean other than his death, what storylines did he actually get that stick in your mind? I cant think of any!
