A few people spring to mind for me...Julian McMahon who played Ben Lucini has gone onto become a househould name in the US with Nip/Tuck, Isla Fisher who played Shannon Reed and won an MTV Movie Award this year. And Dannii Minogue, who 15 years after leaving the Bay is still releasing music, that's a hell of a long time foe a singing soapie, they are usually one hit wonders!! I used to think Melissa George as well but not much has been heard of her since The Amytville Horror.

Some of the others have moments where they don't seem to be doing much. I also think if you were to mention his name in the states and you would definitely get a reaction where as maybe Melissa George and Isla Fisher wouldn't be as known unless you mentioned some of their work. Chris Egan and Ryan Kwanten seem to be doing alright for themselves but give them a few more years. Particularly Chris as he's got a lot of stuff coming out next year and he's also younger than any of the others. A lot of people might say Heath Ledger, but seriously think about it and he only ever had a guest role of the show and if you're talking about proper cast members I don't think he comes into it.

ter06 Posted November 1, 2006 Report Posted November 1, 2006 I forgot about Ryan Kwanten and Chris Egan when I started this thread. Guy Pearce hasn't had a big film out (that I can remember) in ages. I suppose Dannii Minogue's fame is only confined to here and in Australia although I was surprised to here one of her songs on in a bar in New York when I was there last winter.
