It wasn’t the whole Diner though was it? Just the kitchen area and the rest was damaged by smoke - that’s why they still have the juke box too I guess. I preferred the old Diner; I hate how they got rid of it - one of the biggest mistakes of a really great year IMO. What was the point in destroying it just to re-build a new one in a different location.

They seem to like to change the sets in Australian soaps every now and again. Not the houses and stuff, but whatever is the main social focus (coffee shop, diner, pub etc). I suppose it keeps things fresh, but there's always a risk that people won't like the new ones as much (like the current sets in Neighbours). They tend to keep things the same in uk soaps and I have to say I prefer it that way.

i think the only people to have really changed are Belinda Emmett (understandable in the circumstances) and the actress who played roo otherwise i think it's remarkable how similar they still look people like Nicola (Bobby) don't seem to have aged at all.
