Reo Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I would of liked to have seen Peter's funeral aswell.. He died and that was it,there was no saying goodbye. I would of also have liked to have seen his parents..They were really funny during Dan's wedding and they made me laugh loads,i would of liked to have seen the grieving parents.. And after all the time they wasted with their grudges and only making up at Dan's wedding..I would of really liked to have seen them.

I think the whole helicopter storyline is a stupid idea anyway and that we should have been allowed to delve further into the aftermath of the explosion without it just being swept under the carpet so everyone can worry about the crash instead. We should have seen Peter's funeral, his friends such as Sally, Irene, Alf etc. should have attended the funeral, but since there was so much to do with the search and everything, they didn't have the chance to even think about it! It's been a crying shame, we should have seen more of the effect it had on people, like how Dan, Leah and Amanda coped with Pete's death, Ryan's reaction to it too, I mean, Pete was his uncle and now he's dead, but we haven't even seen Ryan since before the wedding! What about Ric and Belle breaking up, we never saw any of that either, it's like, Belle finished with Ric because he was spending time with Cassie. Ric has just decided he's still in love with Cassie, so has totally forgot about Belle, he's a bit worried about Martha, but I don't think he has even spared a thought for Belle, who was also in the helicopter! You'd think he might at least be a bit concerned for her even if he isn't madly in love with her!

jen21 Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I fully expected a proper send off actually, like some sort of memorial service that honoured all he'd done. It is a bit gutting, but obviously it didn't fit in with other storylines. I suppose everyone's a bit preoccupied with the chopper crash and all, but they could have taken a little time to remember him. Steady on everyone, but dan does have a memorial service for peter, it just not been shows yet! I've seen the picture of peter's memorial service with his photo of him on a table for everyone to see. Just be patience & wait & see.
