Okay. im in the UK, and peter died a week ago, buit his death has been ignored it seems! Dan and leah dont seem upset at all, neither does anyone else. i know summer bay has problems of its own now because the plane just crashed and nobody knows where the victims are, but peter did SO MUCH for everyone, he needs a send-off.

I totally agree.

He dedicated two/three years of his life to save them and even died trying and yet they can't even be so grateful as to mourn him? No wonder Zoe wanted them dead - they're bad mannered! :P

If i remember rightly, peter saved them before the blast - he was the one who told them all to get down, if they didnt know to get down, theyd have all been dead.

Peter is also the one whos taken soooooooooooooooooo many risks to save people, and he almost got killed in a lot of the processes. if it` wasnt for peter, half of the bay would probably be dead.

I fully expected a proper send off actually, like some sort of memorial service that honoured all he'd done. It is a bit gutting, but obviously it didn't fit in with other storylines.

I suppose everyone's a bit preoccupied with the chopper crash and all, but they could have taken a little time to remember him.

I'm in NZ and when he first died i hope for a storyline where Dan would go off the deep end or something because of his brother's death. I was so disappointed they didn't have a proper funeral or anything!!!

The UK really are a long way behind aren't they/you?!?!

They did get over it pretty quickly...a lot quicker than you would in real life.

I agree about everything that everones just said! If i was Dan I would be really angry at people in the bay, as even after everything his brothers done noone seems to care!! I think it was sad for us viewers as well, as we didnt even get to see his funeral and say goodbye!!

I would have thought Sally might have been a bit more upset though, as she did have a kind of special relationship with Peter as he saved her life in the factory.

I've been thinking exactly the same thing - Peter's funeral was only mentioned in passing, and Irene, I think it was, just said to Dan, "We'll be thinking of you." Considering Peter is virtually their town hero, and he's dedicated the past two or three years of his life to trying to outsmart the stalker and save the town, it wasn't a very fitting send-off, IMO. There were too many other things going on at the same time, the 'chopper crash and the whole Kitty/Belle/Amanda thing, and I feel that Peter's death was just resigned to "another thing that happened." If I were Dan, I wouldn't be very happy with the rest of Summer Bay at the moment!
