Traceve Posted November 4, 2006 Report Posted November 4, 2006 Bailys POV As soon as I put the microphone on the ground after we finished singing, the entire crowd burst into cheers screaming for an encore, I glanced over and Loz she was also blushing a shade of bight red. As we began to walk out to the kitchen to get some drinks with Matilda, I saw Drew. “Here you go, Bail, heres your chance,” Lauren whispered as we walked past Drew slowly. I glanced out the corner of my eye at him, my gosh he looked even hotter close up.’ “What do you 3 want?” Amanda asked us as we entered the kitchen. “3, vodkas,” I said smiling. “Uh, Baily, Mum would kill us,” Loz said bitting her lip. “No way, just a coke for me.” Matilda said to Amanda. “If she knows,” I said signalling Amanda to pour our two drinks. “Baily what are you doing?” Cassie asked me as I headed back towards the kitchen to get another drink. “Nothing, just getting another drink,” I said as I took another one off of Amanda. “Oh there’s Drew again,” I said loudly pointing to Drew who was sitting on the couch talking to Belle. “Baily, getta hold of yourself,” Loz said pulling my by the arm outside. “Are we going for a walk?” I said loudly brushing my hair out of my face with my spare hand. “No Baily,” Loz said as she dragged me around to the other side of the house, so we were alone. “I don’t feel to well,” I said as I lent over in one of Amanda’s many neatly pruned bushes and vomited. “Is she alright?” I heard a male voice come over to me and sooth my back as I vomited again. “I think she just had too much to drink,” Lauren said explaining. “I only had a few,” I said spitting. “A few too many, how old are you?” He asked as he pulled my hair back as I vomited again. “17” I said wiping my chin with my hand. “You shouldn’t have even had any,” He said softly. “Opps,” was all I said as I stood up, and looked at the boy. “”Im Drew,” He said smiling. “This is Baily, she isn’t usually like this,” Loz said coming to my rescue as always. “If I were you, I wouldn’t take her home just yet, let her sober up a bit,” Drew said. “Well, would you mind? So I can get back inside I told Lucas I was going to tell him all about my dancing,” Loz said winking at me. “Sure,” He said as Loz headed back inside. “Come with me, I have an idea,” Drew said grabbing my hand as we began walking towards the beach. “Were are we?” I said as we walked across the main road on the way there. “You must be new? He asked me. “Yeah,” I said sighing as I looked at him standing there, in the moonlight in the cold breeze blowing in his hair. “We better get going,” Drew said snapping out of the moment and looking at his watch. “Yeah, I don’t want my Mum going nuts,” I said sighing as we headed back to Amanda’s. “Hope the walked help clear your head,” He said smiling as Loz and I got in the car. “It did, thanks,” I said as I put my seat belt on. I wasn’t driving home Lauren was. I wasn’t allowed to. “Ill see you around then,” Drew said as he smiled at Loz and I and then headed back inside. “Don’t ask,” I said laughing at Lauren as she glanced at me.

Ben’s POV I laid in my bed, thinking about the girls that I met tonight. I was so excited about meeting up with them tomorrow that I couldn’t get to sleep. Baily and Lauren were the first friends I had ever had. As I kept thinking, I slowly drifted off to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, the bruise I had wasn’t sore anymore. I slowly got out of bed and walked into the kitchen. “Morning.” I chirped to my parents. Like usual, they just grunted back but I didn’t care. When I went into the pantry to get some cereal, their was none left. “Where did all the cereal go?” I asked. “Well obviously it got eaten.” Mum said impatiently. “But their was lots left yesterday.” I replied. “I was hungry alright!” Dad growled. “Ok, ok. You don’t have to get angry. I’ll just get dressed and have breakfast at the Diner.” I explained. My parents didn’t reply to what I said so I went upstairs and got dressed. Then, I picked up my phone and left. As I was walking to the Diner, a lot of cars drove past. I never thought a small town like this could be so busy. One car in particular caught my eye. The car had a man, a lady, a teenager and an absolute gorgeous girl. My eyes almost popped out when I saw her. She looked stunning. I didn’t see her for very long but I knew that she was gorgeous. I was so deep in thought about that girl I was at the Diner before I knew it. I walked inside and saw Leah taking an order of someone. I sat down and waited patiently for her to come to me even though I was starving. Finally, Leah came over and said “Hi Ben. How are you feeling today?” “Much better thanks.” I replied more confidently. “That’s good. What can I get you?” “The big breakfast please.” I said, rubbing my stomach. “Hungry today are we?” Leah asked. “Just a bit.” I laughed. “I’ll get that going for you. It won’t be too long.” While I was sitting there, I got a message on my phone. I looked at it and frowned. It was my dad telling me that I am in trouble for leaving the house without his permission. Maybe if he listened to me, he would’ve known that I had left. Five minutes later, Leah brought out my big breakfast and the name and the price sure told it all. As I started eating it, Baily and Lauren walked in and came over to me. “Hey.” Lauren said. “Hello. How are you two?” “Sick.” Baily replied, rubbing her head. “That’s what you get for drinking too much alcohol Baily.” Lauren laughed. “Shut up.” Baily mumbled. “You drank alcohol?” I asked shocked. If I drunk alcohol, I would get in so much trouble. But then again, I’m only fourteen. “Yeah, well Baily idiotically did. I’m smart. But mum doesn’t know about it. She would kill us if she found out.” Lauren explained. At that moment, mum and dad stormed into the Diner and came over to me. “HOW DARE YOU LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION!” Dad yelled. “I told you I was leaving.” I said embarrassed. “DON’T LIE TO US!” Dad yelled back. Leah must’ve herd the yelling because she ran out and said “Is everything alright here?” “Everything’s fine! We have just come to collect out son!” Dad told her, still fired up. He then grabbed my arm and dragged me out, leaving everyone in the Diner shocked.

Did that just happen?” Baily asked confused, “Or was it just me?” She added. “Uh, It definitely happened, I dunno what their problem was, he was only having breakfast!” I said confused. “And you cant go very far in Summer Bay, well what I saw of it anyways…” Baily said looking at me, “Yeh, where did you and Drew get off to last night?” I asked curiously. “Just a walk, he is so sweet Loz, He is so….” Baily said drifting off, “What is it?” I asked her, “Have I got something on my face?” I asked curiously, I followed her eyes over to the entry of the diner, Drew, Lucas and another guy were just walking in, “I should’ve known…” I whispered. “Bail? Get a hold of yourself…” I said pushing her out of her daze, “Hey Girls!” Drew said, walking over, taking a seat and taking a piece of my toast, “Help yourself!” I said laughing, “I already did!” He said sticking out his tongue, “How are you today Baily?” He asked. “I’m better than last night! Thanks!” She said sweetly. “Hey Luc…” I said shyly, “Hey!” He said, giving me a cute smile and taking the seat next to me, “This is Ric, He ‘s Cassie’s boyfriend” Lucas said. “Oh hey, I’m Lauren and this is Baily,” I said smiling. After about half an hour, I was still thinking about Ben, “Bail, I’m gonna text Ben, I want to see if he’s ok…” I said looking over at Baily, “Yeh, you do that…” She said looking back at me, I could tell she was a little nervous, she had it bad for Drew, I hope they get together… “Ben?” Lucas asked. “Yeh, Ben,” Baily said laughing. “Boyfriend?” Lucas asked me curiously. “Jealous?” I asked sticking out my tongue, “Nah, he’s a friend we met, we’re a bit worried…” I added. I wrote, ‘Ben, are you ok? That was a bit full on with your parents, hope your ok, let us know, maybe we can meet up in a bit? Luv Loz & Bail x’ An hour later we had left the boys in the diner and had just arrived home, “Hey Mum, it’s only us!” I shouted. No one answered, we walked into the kitchen and saw a note from mum, ‘Gone to the shops, be back in an hour, love mum x’ At that moment my phone beeped. ‘Hey guys, I’m fine, wont be able to make it out today, maybe another time…ben x’ “Ben, he cant make it out today…” I said sadly, “Loz?” Baily said, completely ignoring what I just said. “What is it?” I asked. She picked up mum’s phone and handed it to me, “Read it…” She said ‘Got problems, need to meet you now, no excuses…’ “What the hell?” I asked confused.
