Two great chapters. Both very long chapters as well. I'm not complaining. Ben's story reminds me so much of 'A Christmas Carol' but the only difference is that it's an angel this time and not 3 ghosts.

I'm glad he's alright. Are Ben's parents going to tell him that he's adopted? And that Loz and Baily are actually his siblings?

Bailys POV (Shannon)

I had left the hospital earlier then I would have liked to, but I thought Ben needed some time alone. Lauren, Drew and Lucas were with me. But it was obvious Lauren was still blaming herself for what happened. Lucas had his arm around Lauren protectively. We walked into the diner and took a seat. I sat next to Drew as he put my arm around me; I leaned towards him resting my chin on his shoulder.

Lauren sighed and went an ordered the drinks.

“Bail, do you think, well, Lauren and I,” Lucas began. I looked over at him, he seemed confused.

“I think, Bail, I think I love her,”

I grinned; he gave me a small smile back and soon blushed when Lauren sat back down, as her hair brushed against his arm.

I picked up my OJ and began to drink it; Lucas kept on looking at Lauren out the corner of his eye. Lauren didn’t seem to notice.

Drew and I began to kiss; we were rudely interrupted by Colleen yelling at us, saying we were using the Dinner as a motel. Drew had I burst into a fit of laughter. We were having such a great time we had forgotten all about Ben, well we did, Lauren didn’t forget.

“Guys! We have to get back to Ben now.” Lauren spoke up as she stood up. Lucas followed her to the counter as she handed colleen the dirty glasses saving Colleen getting them.

“You should apply for a job here young lady, we could use an honest young lady like yourself,” I heard Colleen say. I laughed. I couldn’t help it. Lauren and Lucas walked hand in hand outside, Drew and I followed.

“Come-on guys, I hope he’s alright,” Lauren said as she walked a few meters ahead of us. If im not mistaken I think Lucas was checking out Lauren from behind…

“He was fine when we left,” I reminded her, she didn’t seem to hear me, I think she was just concerned as she left Ben with their parents, but wait. I stopped in my tracks and waited until Lauren realized we had all stopped.

“Baily, hurry up,”

“Loz, Bens parents, aren’t his parents,” I said quietly.

“Huh,”she said confused.

“They took my blood, Loz, my blood! Im not related to him, and they said that his parents blood didn’t match so please correct me if I am wrong, but I think our parents are his parents.”

“Baily, your crazy,” she shouted,” its insane!”

“it may be insane, but it isn’t impossible,” I muttered. Lauren didn’t seem to notice we had all fallen silent, she turned and raced towards the hospital, with Lucas close on her heels. I sighed as Drew put his arm around me.

(I had a mental block and this is the best I could come up with )

Aw, Baily's such a clever cookie. Poor Lucas.... Lol...

Drew and Bailz need to get a room. Hahaha..... Colleen's remark about Lauren waitressing was such a crack up.

Ben’s POV

“You’re not our son Ben.” Mum whispered,

“Is this some kind of joke?” I asked,

“No, your mother is telling the truth. Baily and Lauren’s parents are yours.” Dad replied.

“Get out!”

“Ben….” Mum started.

“I said GET OUT!” I roared.

Mum and dad hurried out of the room. I laid on my side feeling sick. I can’t believe this was the secret. I had started to like Lauren and now I have found out that she is my sister. That was disgusting.

Lauren ran into my room in tears.

“Loz.” I said.

“Is it true?” She asked.

“Yes.”

“This can’t be happening!”

She then ran off. I tried to get out of bed to go after her but I couldn’t get up. I continued trying until Mattie walked in.

“What are you doing?”

“I have to go after Lauren. She’s upset.”

“You’re not going anywhere. You need to rest.” Mattie explained.

“But Loz is sad.” I argued.

“I’m not letting you leave.”

“Ok, ok I’ll stay.”

“Good. Now I’m not happy with you.”

“Why?”

“You got yourself run over to avoid our date.”

“Ha ha. You’re one funny girl.” I laughed.

“I try. I heard about your parents not being your parents.”

“I only just found out.”

“I’m sorry.” She said sympathetically.

“It’s ok. I’m a little shocked but that’s all.”

“If you ever need to talk about it, I’m here for you.”

“Thanks Mattie. That means a lot to me.”

Rachel walked in and said “Sorry Mattie, visiting hours are over.”

“I’ll see you later.” Mattie said and left.

“Don’t worry Ben; I just have to check up on you.” Rachel explained. “I won’t be too long.”

“Cool. How many more days do I have to be in hospital for?” I asked.

“By the looks of it, you can go home tomorrow.”

“I don’t have a home.”

“How would you like to move in with Kim and me?”

“I don’t want to intrude.”

“You won’t intrude. It would be good to have a kid around now that Kim and I can’t have any.”

“When can I move in?”

“I’ll take you home tomorrow. Kim and I will also organise the whole custody thing.”

“Thank you so much Dr Armstrong.”

“Please, call me Rachel.” She smiled.

Laurens Pov (Sophiekins)

I just kept running, not stopping, everything was a blur until I stopped and fell to the ground, I fell onto the sand and began to cry.

How could this have happened? It was all wrong!

“Loz? Are you ok?” I turned and saw Baily standing there.

“Bail, just go…I need to be alone”

“Lauren, I’m going through the same thing as you…I understand…” She said quietly sitting down.

“No! Baily you don’t know! You didn’t kiss your OWN brother did you?” I shouted at her as I got up and started running again, I heard her following me, I turned around, “Baily! Just leave me alone!” I cried, I bumped into someone, that someone being Lucas.

“Hey babe…slow down” He smiled, Baily caught up and stood behind me,

“Lauren, please…we need to talk about this!” she pleaded.

“Why can’t everyone just leave me alone?” I cried, “I just can’t take this…why did this have to happen?” I broke down…

“I can’t believe that just happened…” I smiled as Lucas held me closer, “I can’t believe I just let my barrier down like that…”

“It was good for you to let it all out, and you kind of had the best company ever!” Baily laughed.

“I have to say I agree!” Lucas laughed too.

“Thanks for this guys…” I smiled and looked up at Lucas, he smiled down at me.

“I kind of have to go…but Lauren…Dad & Beth asked if you’d like to come over for dinner tomorrow, but I understand that’s it not the right time for you so…”

“Luc…It’s cool I’ll be there!” I smiled as I lent up and kissed him, “I’ll call you later!”

I watched him walk away towards the beach opening and sighed.

“You love him don’t you?” Baily asked following my eyes and looking at Lucas too, “Uh, yeh I guess I do…” I smiled as I faded off.

“He told Drew & I that he loves you Loz!” She said as she hugged me, “See things are looking up for you now, and I don’t know about you but I think things in Summer Bay are starting to be better than things ever were in the city for us…” She stated.

“Me too” I said quietly.

“So dinner with the rent’s eh?” Baily said seriously, trying to hold in the giggles.

“There is totally nothing wrong with me, the respectable girlfriend, going back to my boyfriend’s house to have dinner with his parents!”

“Well you, the respectable girlfriend, had better go through your wardrobe and fine something respectable to wear!” She said poking out her tougne at me.

“I think we both have someone to go and talk to first…don’t you?” I asked as I got up and pulled Baily up by her hand, “Our…brother…”
