They're dramatic because they usually have a big cliff-hanger to keep viewers guessing over the weekend as to what will happen so that they'll tune in again on Monday. If there was an hour long episode on Friday, then instead of the cliff-hanger happening after 30 minutes, it'd happen after 60. There's no way they'd resolve it half way through the episode and then move onto something else; there'd be no high drama to keep everyone interested, otherwise.

Trust me, the more episodes they churn out per week, the sloppier the writing will become and the more people will complain. :)

We're two episodes behind you therefore we get our cliff-hangers on a tuesday and only have to wait 24 hours to see what happens :P

Ahhh...I think the rest of the UK get their episodes in the same weekly 'blocks' as the Australians...hence why we get our 'hangers on a Friday...it's alright for some! :P

As crazy and deranged as she is, I think Zoe/Eve may have actually genuinely liked Kim! He never knew Sarah and wasn't involved in the siege or any of that stuff, so he wasn't really one of her targets in the first place. I do think that she genuinely liked him, although her idea of genuine feelings and relationships probably vastly differ from those of a completely sane person!

Hmm...I've often thought about the fact that "Zoe" and Kim were a couple, and the fact that not much was really made of it after "Zoe" was unveiled as the stalker. I'm still pretty undecided as to whether "Zoe" ever actually held any real affection for Kim, or whether it was just another of her ploys to get closer to the residents of Summer Bay. Interesting thought though.

Edit: Just seen TabbyCool's post...yeah, I guess it would be quite interesting to think that "Zoe" had an actual object of affection, outside of this whole stalker business. Makes her seem slightly more normal!
