~Amy~ Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I think that the writers have intentionally left that storyline ambiguous so that in the future, if ratings are flagging, they can do a Blue Peter-style "And here's one I prepared earlier" storyline. I was just thinking that. The fact that they brought back Zoey a second time was bad enough but to bring Tracey back I mean no one is that lucky.
~Rosey~ Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I think that episode should of been an hour long

~Rosey~ Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 I think the episodes should be an hour long every day
claire_louise Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 ^ You don't, trust me. Firstly, it would get boring. No matter how much you love the show, even the biggest fan would get sick of it after a while. And secondly, the show would be rubbish. There's no way they could churn out five hours worth of tv every week and make it any good. If they leave you wanting more, it's a good thing!
Bay_Mad Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Maybe we should comprimise and have an hour long episode every friday?? Because Fridays episodes are usually dramatic anyway... And they still haven't mentioned Zoe or Tracey....is noone in the bay wondering what happened to them??! Even Jacks awake now and he hasnt said anything!
Oxidizer Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Firstly, freakin' love the av, Bay! I think Martha said Jack was having nightmares of the Zoe variety (they should've filmed those!), and Jack asked if Zoe caused the helicopter to crash and Tony said that she was dead (what would he know anyway?). No mention of Tracey as far as I know. Obviously they didn't die, they were just unconscious, they could've easily have played dead until the wreckage was clear then sneak out during the confusion. As far as I'm concerned Zoe and Tracey are back in the city.

And they still haven't mentioned Zoe or Tracey....is noone in the bay wondering what happened to them??! Even Jacks awake now and he hasnt said anything! They're dramatic because they usually have a big cliff-hanger to keep viewers guessing over the weekend as to what will happen so that they'll tune in again on Monday. If there was an hour long episode on Friday, then instead of the cliff-hanger happening after 30 minutes, it'd happen after 60. There's no way they'd resolve it half way through the episode and then move onto something else; there'd be no high drama to keep everyone interested, otherwise. Trust me, the more episodes they churn out per week, the sloppier the writing will become and the more people will complain.

Even the writers must realise that they've exhausted this storyline for good now.
