Clairey Posted October 18, 2006 Report Posted October 18, 2006 hey everyone, i just found out that there is no Home and Away on five this Thursday because the football is on at 17.50, what are we going to do????? Before the episode aired, the speaking man person said that Thursdays episode would be shown on 5Life I'm presuming that it will be shown 6-6:30pm, as usual C5 time, so the next episode can be shown straight after. Mind you, doing this, the time slot for The Ellen Degenres show will have to be moved too. <3Clairey xxx.

At least do what ITV used to do with Corrie - show it at 7.30pm on ITV2, then run a later showing on ITV1. They could easily show it after all the football toinght. There is one terrestial showing of tonight's episode, parked at noon on Friday. Which means people without Digital miss out. What a shoddy way to treat a television programme - bet that wouldn't have been done with Family Affairs! And I bet we have to watch it with the world's biggest ugly logo in the corner too.

What i would have done is but one of the football game on five life channel and channel five would have about two hours to show there normal shows like home and away and the five news. Who was the two voice-overs girls on the five life channel at the end of home and away.?
James Martin Posted October 20, 2006 Report Posted October 20, 2006 Well, surprisingly, reports on TV Forum suggest that Home & Away on Five Life is actually rating BETTER than Five proper - to the tune of 100,000 people better! Maybe not such a silly move after all, then!

Maybe not such a silly move after all, then! Wow! That's a surprise! It's good to have the omnibus back as well, now. I was thinking earlier how many Australian programmes are shown on Five Life - Home and Away, Love My Way, Tripping Over (starts on 30th October, I think), Round The Twist and Blue Water High (these two are kids programmes tha are shown on shake!. It would kinda be a good move for Five to also get Neighbours (as has been speculated in other threads), then they'd have the whole "Aussie set".
