Just to get this straight, this means their just cancelling the episode at 6 on thursday, but they'll still be showing the repeat next day? So actaully we wont just miss an episode. Or will they just show Thursdays episode normal time on friday at 6 and just carry on from there?? (Sorry if im being stupid!)

So effectively they are still showing Thursday's episode, but On Five Life at the same time it would normally be on Five. So we're not going to be a further day behind, and 'normal' Five's episodes will still be shown in the same 'blocks' as in Oz. I think?

If you get five Life watch wednesdays 6.00PM episode on 5 then watch Five Life at 6.30PM and then on friday watch home and away at 6.30 if fridays epiode is on at that time and on monday you are back to normal.

Those of you who have access to Mercury Girl's server - the "dropped" episode is on there.

Here's what's happening:

Episode 4214:

Wednesday 6.30pm - Five Life

Thursday 6.00pm - Five Life

Friday 12.00 noon - Five

THERE IS **NO** PRIMETIME SHOWING OF THIS EPISODE ON ANALOGUE!

(Meaning that everyone misses the key episode where Amanda finds out about Belle. Nice one Five.)

Bit of a stupid publicity stunt for Five Life in my opinion.

Going "lunchtime-only" was one of ITV's tricks, lest we forget - most famously done with Dale's death in 1994.

They should have either dropped back a day on Five so the Five Life episodes aired in the right places, or run a double ep on the Friday, moving First Look on Life to 7pm.

It's not rocket science.
