Unconventional Pairings

Well we all know that there are characters that are together all the time, you don't get one without the other (Eg Tasha and Robbie, Kim and Rachel ATM), but who do you think ought to be in scenes with other people?

There are often times when characters, maybe even related characters, don't have scenes together for weeks, and then you see them in the diner together, chatting like they've never been apart.

So here's your chance to say who you'd like to see in scenes together and why - (past or present characters), i'll start:

Belle and Tasha: When Belle first came to the Bay and moved into Irene's house, Tasha invited her to her engagement/wedding party. Belle had been rejected a lot of the time and thought she still would be, after all she was just a troubled kid, and Tash said something like "Of course we want you to be there" and Belle's face lit up. Since then, i don't think i've seen them in a scene together - not on their own anyway - and would like to. They live in the same house afterall, surely there's got to be a certain amount of interaction!

Does anybody have any unconventional pairings?

I agree with the Belle/Tasha situation. I've only seen them together once, and they live in the same damn house!

I think Jack and Lucas don't really interact. I know that they don't live together, but you would have thought that they would be in more scenes together considering they are brothers!

Considering Matilda and Tony now live together, they never really talk. And the same with Kim and Jack.

I'd love to see Tilly and Tony talk more - since Lucas had such a rough reaction dealing with moving in and accepting Beth as his "mother", i'd have like to have seen more of Mattie's reaction. I mean her dad died too, and she's having to go through the same thing as Lucas.

Lucas never knew his mother, so I'm sure it's pretty hard to have a "Mother" figure thrown into your life after not having one for 16 years.

But, I agree. Mattie lost her dad when she was young, so it would have been hard for her. I guess (maybe) she didn't like her dad that much, he sounded like a right twat. But I could be wrong, I don't know who got on with him in that family. I know Robbie had a rough time with his Dad, but I don't know about the others...

Well Kit obviously got on with him the best, as his death really screwed her up. Not so sure about the others.

I'd like to see more of Robbie and Matilda together, as they're the only Hunter siblings left now so you'd think they'll pull together a bit more. Also Sally and Irene, who used to be close, and I think Sally and Rachel could have a good friendship. It would be nice to see how Martha and Tony get on now they're going to be related.

^ The Hunter siblings barely ever interact apart from Maddie/Henry and Scott/Kit, I mean you never really saw/see Scott or Robbie with Matilda or Henry or say Kit and Henry together.

I don't think Macca and Alf spent enough time together, Alf is Macca's Grandad after all. And Martha/Cassie's relationship sprung from nowhere!

I'm sure there's heaps more and I agree about Tasha/Belle...Tash was just the sort of person to take Belle under her wing! Robbie and Belle haven't really spoken either...

This is a really interesting topic!

I think they do quite well with having all the characters interact, but at the moment I think Tony needs a guy mate his own age! He hasnt really got anyone apart from Alf maybe!

^^ I agree about Tony, i think he should be friends with Dan, because he hasn't really got anyone either - except Pete.

With Dan, i felt they made this whole thing about Flynn and Dan - when Dan spoke at Flynn's funeral - i don't really remember seeing them together to a great extent.

Macca is not Alf's grandson. :)

Macca and Martha aren't blood related siblings, they're adopted siblings. Martha is blood related to Alf, Macca isn't.

Also, a few comments earlier about Matilda/Tony. I can see why the producers didn't go down that road with Matilda. Matilda had a lot against Rhys if anyone remembers, she's also matured a lot since then.
